Great location, staff was amazing

The room needs painting nut clean The staff were great. Fred the barman went out of his way to serve the customers with a friendly efficient way.

Had a great time. Staff was helpful and courteous.

The room was very small - smaller than it looked on pictures. It got very humid inside due to size of the room and a lack of ventilation

Staff were friendly, room was fine - could have been cleaner ( shower and floor in particular) but location was good and we weren’t in Sydney to hang out in hotel room. We wouldn’t come back and stay here with our kids thought as rooms were noisy from other guests in the corridors and street traffic coming out of Kings Cross on a Friday and Saturday night!

Good value and helpful staff

My room was teeny tiny but suited a short stay. Next to no food left at brekky half way through service. No coffee. And no staff to be found. Bed super comfy and room quiet. I’d stay again but would expect a much lower rate. High due to time of year.

Great location & pristine bourgie vibes and breakfast but the stairs are prehistoric & stomped up and down by drunk office workers...

Kamer was top! Goeie locatie (alles Op wandel afstand). Heel vriendelijke staff de rooftopbar en de pub in het gebouw zijn een zalig bonus!

Great central place to stay in CBD areas of Sydney. The hotel was great with all amenities including roof top bar. Breakfast was great served in library but needs to keep it topped up for guests who do not get up early. Miguel in the bar area was a great host helped us with local area knowledge and shared great places to eat with excellent pub downstairs doing good meals but does need to have a better selection for Vegan dietary. Most definitely recommend the hotel and will stay here again :)

Very surprised that there were so many stairs, the information on the site only says three stairs to the entrance. I was given a second floor room and there were a lot of narrow stairs to get there. The room was fine

Staff are exceptional, room is always comfortable and convenient.

Value for money

The Strand provided a comfortable and convenient stay for the first few days I spent travelling around. The included breakfast was more of a holdover snack until I could get an actual meal, but was nice to have nonetheless. The room was clean, but worn. The bottom of the curtains and the area around the window were stained with water damage. The rooftop bar was nice, but required a booking. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious. For the price paid The Strand was great!

Hyggeligt hotel med masser af charme, beliggende centralt i Sydney. Værelserne er ny indrettede i god stil, men fx ikke med lydisolering til gaden og baren i stueetagen. Der er ikke reception som sådan men personalet i baren er super cool og hjælpsomme. Morgenmad mangler lidt, både i udvalg og kvalitet. Alt i alt en god oplevelse. Prisen var god og beliggenhed i top.
