The owners need to install blinds on doors that are exterior to other areas. Also too much light for sleeping.

El apartamento es tal como se ve en las fotos, limpio y amplio. La atención para el check in es excelente y la comunicación con la administración. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de los lugares principales. Lo malo es q en la cocina todos los artefactos hay q conectarlos a un solo tomacorriente, eso es incómodo. La luz del Sol entra a la habitación desde las 6 de la mañana, no se puede dormir hasta tarde. El ruido de la fiesta en la calle entra a la habitación, otra incomodidad para dormir. Durante nuestra estancia, los vecinos del barrio estuvieron de fiesta toda la noche del sabado y el domingo. Si le molesta el ruido y necesita oscuridad total para dormir, este no es el lugar para Usted.

The room was beautiful and comfortable, and the location was perfect. We had problems checking in because we arrived late and there was no one there. A nearby hotel was kind enough to provide assistance so I could use my phone to check emails. It took quite a while to finally get to our room, but the hotel obliged when I requested a discount. The email with the entrance code said “confirm if you receive this email,” and I didn’t, so the hotel should have followed up. However, all’s well that ends well. I would stay there again knowing how it works.

Recomendamos! Hospedamos pela segunda vez na Casa Maralta por mais uma noite antes de deixar o Panamá. Dessa vez o check in foi mais fácil e rápido porque nos comunicamos por WhatsApp com o administrador, Maurício. A localização é a melhor da cidade para o turista. Muito agradável. São 09 aptos e cada um de um tamanho e decoração de muito bom gosto. Alerta: tem escasa pra subir com as malas. Não tem recepção e nem funcionário 24 hrs. É um apto de temporada e não tem serviço de arrumação diária. Mesmo assim, vale experimentar!

The location of this apartment was ideal! Walkable to restaurants and bars and a $5 Uber ride to the city. We were kindly upgraded to the rooftop suite for the first 2 nights of our stay and then moved to apartment 4 for the last night, all 3 honored at the lower rate which was a pleasant surprise. Both apartments were adorable...well equipped, cute tiles and furnishings, and very spacious. The only complaint we had was the floors could have been cleaner. It was a little difficult to communicate with the owner due to the language barrier but the emails through hotels.com made it easier. Unfortunately, responses were not always timely. That said, we probably would not have needed to reach her during our stay if we didn’t have to change rooms. We really loved the overall stay and I would definitely recommend Casa Maralta!
