This place was very basic but it did the job.

Really liked the room and the kitchen provided.

Certainly very interesting but the bed was horrible

The fact that you are sleeping underground is special

very friendly staff. though “underground”, the lights in the hall was a little bright as the curtains are not black out curtains. would definitely recommend!!

Love the quirky underground vibe. Room small but very practical, clean, and comfortable. Nice shared kitchen facility, we made good use of that. It was also great to sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. We only stayed one night - twice - in transit between Adelaide and Uluru, first northbound, then returning southbound a few days later. The town of Coober Pedy is also quirky in a good way, it looked neat and it would have been nice to spend an extra day to explore, but unfortunately we didn’t have time.

This was one of the cleanest and most unique properties that we've stayed in during our three week trip in Australia.

The staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful when I arrived. Also, extremely accommodating when i originally messed up my dates. When I arrived in a massive rain storm in a car, they helped me plan places that I would safely and easily make it to in my vehicle. The room was great and held temperatures wonderfully. I highly recommend staying here.

Very unique

The room was quite small but served a purpose. There was a room fan but it was inadaquate to cope with the extreme heat outside.....

It was very very comfortable and everything I needed and will stay again

We were back after a 12 year hiatis. Very comfortable motel room with 2 bedfooms. It is dug into the hillside, which keeps it cool. There is also air con. There is a basic kitchen with thepossibility to cook in the kitchen in the main house. We loved sitting outside for breakfast. Thank you for our wonderful stay!

Loved the whole experience of underground place was comfortable & clean

Greetings was fantastic, map of area was shown with things to do, utensils, coffee availability was also good, aircon was on one setting and we could not change, shower water flow was poor, bed not made even though we were there for two nights. Door handle broken.

A very cosy little Motel with very warm staff.

Friendly greeting and there is covered parking. Very noisy in windy conditions and emergency preparations were woeful when power was cut.

This is was a great experience. The owner/manager provided excellent service. Great suggestions for dinner and for the underground mine museum. The kitchen was very well stocked and very clean. There is a barbecue which would have been great to use but we chose to go out to Big Winch 360 on their recommendation. It was excellent.

Great atmosphere and friendly helpfull staff. Close to shops, dinning and tourism attractions.
