Nice room, clean, warm, good views, friendly staff, good food. But, disappointed to see the dining room is no longer the big room overlooking the sea. And no proper bar in the place.

very clean and staff were excellent

Our room on arrival was very cold and took a long time to warm up. The heated towel rail in the bathroom didn't work at all making the bathroom extremely cold. It needs replacing due to eroded pipes, I did report this to reception. We had a meal in the restaurant the first night and wasn't impressed. The food took along time to arrive and was only luke warm. It wasn't great quality considering the high price. Breakfast is now a self serve affair and we found it didn't stay warm under the candle lit containers.

New Years Eve / Day Rooms supposedly refurbished on floor 1 (ours) Maybe a lick of paint bet not much more. Room very cold - radiator off. Turned this no but only luke warm. BFast ok but food could be warmer. Ran out of yoghurt at bfast. Bar good. Bar food ok. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Magiskt ställe! Hotellet har några år på nacken och har ett visst slitage men det tänker man inte länge på när personalen är så trevlig och miljön är så underbar. Bra frukost och resturang. 10/10!

Lovely stay. Easy check in. Great food and bar area. Bedroom had a seaview which was a lovely surprise for what we paid. Staff were friendly and professional

Beautiful room with sea view , all staff were both welcoming and very helpful , meals at night and breakfast were great , and it is a stunning building in a beautiful location , loved our stay couldnt fault anything , what a great place for a relaxing break , we visited in nov but bet its even more stunning in summer , will definitely visit again

This was a special booking for us. My mum got married here nearly 30 years ago. Due to ill health; this is their last time being able to get to the hotel. So we decided to surprise them with staying for the night…they thought they were just going for lunch. I reached out to the hotel to explain the situation & from the get go; they were exceptional with their support in making it a memorable experience. Nothing was too much trouble. We were kindly gifted room upgrades to make it extra special. A picture from their wedding was emailed & they added it into my parents room. The lovely ladies on reception helped delivering the surprise. Coming to the restaurant to deliver their room keys. A lot of “no, you’ve got the wrong people” & yes it’s for you…when it sunk in, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. It was such a special stay with so much sentimental value. I cannot praise the staff - everyone we interacted with were warm & welcoming. The hotel itself has clearly changed a lot since they originally got married. The communal areas are absolutely stunning. Really modern. It felt like I could be in a beach club in the med (but snow when we looked outside!) I cannot thank everyone enough for making it so special! I wish we could come back again!!

Excellent room. Staff were very attentive. Hotel is dated in places but cannot be braten for its location.

Unfortunately there was some confusion over the Expedia booking and the hotel data which took some time to resolve losing our remaining daylight hours to enjoy the location. Jo on reception resolved the problem as quickly as she could and ensured we were looked after. Overall the hotel was really nice as were the staff who we met.

We would like to mention John he is amazing nothing is too much trouble, he is so helpful and accomadating. He is a credit to the Hotel.

What an exceptional find. We loved our one night stay and just wished we would have had the time to stay longer. Would love to return.
