Ottima location in centro e comodissima per i teatri. Camere spaziose, pulite con un ottimo bagno. Perfetto per il soggiorno di cui avevamo necessità

The room was a bit shabby, e.g. Dusty, wallpaper peeling and rusty bathroom handles. Also, it is a very old building, so if you're on the ground floor like we were, be prepared to hear upstairs guests creaking about every time they use the bathroom in the night. The bed was comfortable and staff were very nice, but limited breakfast - not very vegetarian or vegan friendly. Overall was nice to stay at for one night.

This COULD be a great place but it dedparately needs investment in decor, facilities and staff.

Perfect location, lovely spacious room with lots of character and the staff were so delightful. The breakfast was delicious and generous and the evening meal was one of the best we had in Stratford. My only complaint was the door of my room was stiff and had a really quirky lock. It was very difficult to open. Also stairs need new carpet.

Shabby room - bedside lights not working, rusting fittings & mouldy grout in the bathroom, overpowering plug in ‘air freshener’ - no bottled water or biscuits. Staff were nice …

Good location. Room clean and functional...no biscuits!! Intense smell of bleach in the room and no light in the dark corridor outside the room. [Reported both problems...no response] No bar available and hotel locked by 10.30pm. Cooked breakfast good but no fruit or buffet table. Generally an adequate stay.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of old Stratford. Helpful staff and wonderful food and accommodation. Highly recommended

The staff were very friendly and quick to respond to any requests such as more tea and coffee for the room. The room itself was a nice size. It looked out onto Shakespeare's school house which was such a beautiful sight every morning. It was a little stuffy in the room and we had to prop the windows open with some books but this didnt let in a lot of air. The wallpaper looked a little scorched, possibly from the lamp next to the bed and there was what looked like a little damp mark coming from behind the wallpaper. They weren't doing bed and breakfast when I booked but there was a change of management just before our stay. We were offered to book breakfast a few days before our visit. I booked in for one breakfast for both of us, £15 pp. This was a little costly for what we had (one bacon sandwich, one sausage sandwich and a pot of tea) but there was plenty of options that would warrant the cost. All in all, perfect location, beautiful view from the room, clean and staff were lovely.

Had a lovely stay for one night at the Townhouse. No complaints at all, would definately stay again.

Very nice staff

The bathroom seemed a bit moldy, the sink was slow to drain, and there were big cracks in the bathroom wall too. I could hear everything out on the street from my room as well, which was quite disruptive in the mornings when trucks would be making noise outside— free alarm clock. I was bummed breakfast only started at 8am; I had to leave the hotel by 8:15 so didn’t get to use the hot breakfast option. The staff was really kind and helpful, and got me oat milk for some cereal and wrapped up some fruit to-go. Overall, not a terrible stay, but probably won’t stay there again.

Superb place to stay and right where you want to be in the centre of a beautiful town

Lovely place to stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I was able to have a gluten free breakfast and they stocked gluten free Peroni in the bar too. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Excellent room and fantastic restaurant

Lovely few days here while visiting for a conference, bar had loads of choice, tapas meal was lovely and breakfast was great. Room and bed was comfortable. Highlight was the staff... From beginning to end they couldn't do enough and were excellent hosts. We'll be back!

Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. However, the hotel was in need of decorating, particularly the carpets on the stairs. Very central and convenient for shops and culture.

The room was clean. However the tap was loose in the bathroom. I had originally booked the room with the bathtub but was given another room when I arrived. The reconfirmed with the manager and the room was changed.

Room very comfortable and staff extremely friendly and welcoming.
