The breakfast was fantastic! Johann is a wonderful and super helpful host! He went above and beyond to help us find places of interest and even gave us bath caps and towels to enjoy the thermal pools. Highly recommend!

this was a very wonderful location with the river and mountains in the background, it’s family owned, they were very helpful in planning our time there, a very lovely breakfast, they have hammocks outside that you can lie in and take the scenery… and also they offer Massage there at a very reasonable price

Great place in Baños

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous shared balcony with views of the river and the mountain. Perfect spot to enjoy the included breakfast! Staff were all very nice and helpful, room was clean. Definitely recommend!

A truly beautiful and comfortable place! The owner speaks excellent English and is incredibly patient, meticulously writing down each of our requests and fulfilling them all. He spends a lot of time each day introducing us to the surrounding attractions, a job that requires immense patience—he's fantastic!

Staff was wonderful. Very helpful scheduling taxis and tours. Location was wonderful. Just outside of city next to river. House is clean and well kept. Breakfast very good. I would certainly stay again

Lovely serene location. Amazing host Johan who helped us so much including arranging the bike ride and helped with towels/caps for the baths. Appreciate the detailed attention given by Johan to our group and make our stay memorable. Lovely breakfast !

The room was lovely, with incredible views of the mountains and river. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious.

Johan was absolutely amazing! Extremely friendly, super helpful, very personable, and makes a great breakfast. The property was also fantastic! I got the room with the view of the river which also had a balcony and hammock. I've never felt such peace with the gorgeous view. Can't recommend this place enough! Coming back to Casa Verde ASAP

This was an absolutely magical stay in Baños by the roaring river Pastaza. I really wished that I could have stayed more than one night! The views were amazing, and I would have surely loved to take more advantage of the hammock on the balcony! Hospitality and host great and accommodating too, with parking available, highly recommended!

We had river view room with hammock - AMAZING Great location around Banos & Waterfalls, room very clean, beds avg, breakfast delicious and front desk extremely helpful with all actions.

Lovely place to stay

We had an excellent stay at this hotel and I highly recommend it! Beyond the comfort of the place, we experienced something truly special on a human level. The hotel manager is an incredible person — always attentive, available, kind, and welcoming. He took care of everything to make our stay perfect, organizing all our excursions so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The hotel’s location is ideal: right across from a river, with stunning views of the mountains and lush greenery. Breakfast was delicious, and the prices are unbeatable. We truly felt at home, almost like being part of a family — a rare and precious feeling when traveling.

The only problem I had with the rooms was there was a peculiar smell and had mold most places in the room and the ceiling. Hot water for shower was not available on the third floor. Breakfast was good. Not a bad experience but the only thing I would recommend is more lights in the room and take care on the mold in the rooms.
