The rooms are spacious, clean and have all the amenities as advertised. I especially liked the fridge and washer/dryer in the room. It is at a convenient location with a supermarket and restaurants just downstairs. The rooms managed to stay quite quiet.

Fantastic location, good service, good beds. Walls are paper thin so remember earplugs if you’re a light sleeper:-)

Spacious room, convenient location, comfortable beds

Spacious clean room with a small kitchenette and added bonus of a washer dryer. For an extended stay it had all we needed. It is unconventionally located in a refurbished secondary school but this added to its charm. There are restaurants, shops and a supermarket just downstairs but room is quiet. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great location, very comfortable and clean apartment. On-site personnel were very helpful and smooth check in and out process. Highly recommend

Køkkenet var absolut minimalt udstyret.

Sengene var en smugle hårde, da der manglede en top madras, og så manglede der nogle ting i køkkenet, så som et viskestykke, almindelige glas, en opvaskebørste. Og så kunne man godt bruge et tørrestativ eller flere bøjler 😀 Men fantastisk personale, meget hjælpsomme. Super omgivelser med masser af mad muligheder, ikke langt fra en MRT, og ellers er der shuttlebus.

My overall stay wasn't very comfortable.

My partner and I stayed two weeks in a second floor studio room which had washing and cooking facilities. The washing was invaluable, as it is so hot in Singapore, clothes only get a single use. The cooking facilities were basic, but it's cheaper to eat out at a hawker than buying groceries at the nearby cold storage. We did cook a couple of times, but nothing elaborate. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but the pillows were very comfy. Be aware that the soundproofing of the rooms is not great. We were lucky the first week, all was quiet, but the second week our neighbours turned their TV up very loud. We could also hear the music from something nearby in the mornings on the weekend. We suspected this was a local exercise class. The bathroom was fine and the rainfall shower had good pressure. The downside was that it would spray everywhere, soaking the floor. The room should really come with a squeegee mop or similar to deal with wet floors in the 3-4 days between room service. As everything got wet so often, there was a dehumidifier supplied in the room which we had to keep running 24/7. This increased the noise levels throughout the room, so if you are a light sleeper, it could be difficult. The location is about 15 minutes walk from an MRT station with some slight hills. There is a shuttle bus that runs between Orchard and New Bahru, but it only runs from midday until 8pm. Overall Alma House is a decent place to stay if you are okay with the walking and the noise.

Great room, shops nearby

Love Alma house, the staff all so warm, friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice, clean and neat. I felt very safe during my stay. I would definitely recommend to my friends if I wasn’t a gatekeeper.

Everything was excellent except limited transportation.

Overall, the accommodation was excellent - clean and included laundry and a kitchenette. Service was terrific with the front desk being on WhatsApp 24/7 and super responsive to my needs. The only thing I would have an issue with is that the design of the showers is one of those "modern" and impractical takes whereby every drop of shower water ends up all over the bathroom floor which makes brushing teeth or going to the toilet a wet and uncomfortable experience. Also, the nearest bus stop or metro is about a 15-20 minute walk away and it would have been nice to have picked a location that was closer to those modes of transit but that one is on me.

Easy to go around and shops

The apartment was modern and spacious. We had two double bedrooms, and also the option of a sofa bed. It was great having a washing machine in the room. Each room has a kettle, microwave and two ring hob ( but no oven or toaster). It had all the basic equipment you might need except dishcloth and tea towels. Staff were really helpful with any issues and easily/ quickly contactable through WhatsApp. The area is pretty close to a lot of things- just a couple of stops on the mrt or bus to get anywhere. Underneath the flat is a supermarket with most things you could need as well as a number of restaurants etc. we were there for a fortnight and found plenty to do in Singapore.

While Alma house is only located a 12 minute walk from the MRT FORT canning station the humidity has an impact. There are pleny of eating places around including a grocery store on the groung floor open from 8:30 to 22:00 The MRT is a fantastic way to get around Singapore. Accommodation is good, airconditioning is great and the staff are very helpful. Ironing boards an irons are always available and delivered to your room on request. In the room you will find a small fridge, washing machine (suggest you bring your own WM pods) and a microwave in addition to the standard kettle. No tea or coffe is provided but its eash to purchase supplies from yhe grocery store. The price for the room is reasonable, on Singapore prices. Id be gappy to stay there again. Thete is no gym or pool on site.

We liked the convenience of the restaurants and supermarket. The room itself had good amenities and had what we needed. Small issue in the bathroom was no fan to remove steam. The light switches were in awkward positions but it was easy to get use to.

Location is great. Walkable to the MRT and buses. We even walked to Orchard Rd from here. Having a washing machine was great. Appreciated the divide between our bed and the living space/fold out couch. Dining options immediately downstairs was good, although a little on the expensive side. Having access to the small grocery store made breakfast an easy option. I would stay here again.
