From a wonderful, friendly, professional staff to an excellent location, this hotel was the best choice for our vacation. Room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast plentiful and tasty and every-one working here extremely friendly and polite. Highly recommended hotel, easy to access, with plenty parking and close to city and highway.

What a fantastic little place! Right on the lake, with incredible sunset views. We walked into the main town, which was about a 10-15 minute stroll along the lake. Absolutely beautiful!

We had a great time in Brienz. The hotel room was very clean and nice. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff is very helpful. It is easy walkable distance from the station.

There’s much to be commended about this hotel. It’s a little distance from the train station and most restaurants, but it’s a beautiful spot with a good view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast is incredible. The only real issue we had (apart from fairly high price) was that the staff was pretty rude just about anytime we interacted with them in any way. We ended up just trying not to ask for anything. Otherwise it was a good stay.

La dame a notre arrivée tellement sympathique, elle nous a donné tous les feuillets et informations pour se rendre en transport en commun pour la montagne Interlaken! Chambre bon lit, bonne literie, bon déjeuner avec plusieurs choix. Seul bémol pas de clim mais nous début juin avons profité du vent avec fenêtre et porte ouverte toute la nuit A l'étage. Balcon avec vue sur les montagnes *Pas de produit de soins , ni shower cap mais ça semble être la norme en Suisse. Le lendemain on avait oublié carte de banque dans un commerce elle a appelé pour vérifier si trouvé et leur a dit qu' on arrivait, elle nous parlais français et allemands pour l'appel. Donc très bon choix d'hôtel.Carte pour rabais et transport en commun gratuit remis sur place

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Brienz. I am so grateful for their excellent customer service. Our train left late due to an accident at the station, and then we missed our following train. We were going to miss the first night of our stay, but they were so sweet and moved it to the end instead. I am so thankful! Also very helpful in ideas of things to do on a rainy day. The room was spacious and the newly remodeled bathroom was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!

The hotel had some lovely, distant views of Lake Brienz and the mountains. The rooms were clean and sufficient. A free continental breakfast was provided during our two day stay, which was average. For anyone considering a stay, just know that the hotel is not directly on the lake. There are some buildings (with construction happening) that obstructed the views of the lake and accessibility to it was not easy. The middle aged female host was humorless and unfriendly, borderline rude. Shopping and restaurants in the area were highly limited. There are other villages on the lake that we wished we had considered for their proximity to Interlaken and other places. It was nothing special and if we could have cancelled, we would have.

Hotel aconchegante, recepção atenciosa, ambiente família, estacionamento no local, camas confortáveis, café da manhã foi o mais completo da viagem e estava incluso, fica perto do lago Brienz, tem uma vista linda, cidade tranquila, tem mercado próximo e estação de trem também, também é possível pegar o barco, ótimo preço para quem pretende visitar Jungfraujoch e Interlaken, senti falta somente do frigobar.

Stayed here for 1 night. Gorgeous hotel, delicious breakfast included. Check in was easy, hotel was quiet. Beds comfortable. Shower pressure was great. Staff very friendly, very kind. Wifi was good. View from balcony was unreal, such a gorgeous place. Brienz is a must see, no skip place! Would absolutely recommend staying here! Lots of hiking spots in the area!
