Location is brilliant for solo travellers who want to enjoy the city. I was on a break from my busy life so the restaurant at the rooftop came in handy. I ordered room service and it was a dream. Fresh towels, fresh bed and good food! What’s not to love.

Smooth check in with friendly receptionist who made sure we were happy. Room was very large and clean with great air con which was very welcome during the heatwave. Great location in the city centre but very quiet in the rooms. Very happy.

Nice hotel but got a bit weirded out by a 10 pounds late checkout charge per hour. Felt a little greedy

Contemporary rooms, simple but clean all modern amenities. Staff friendly. This hotel offers a three course meal £25 per person which sounded good as we had the theatre booked and my mother has poor mobility so it made sense to take the offer but the meal has to be paid up front when checking in and you are not informed what this meal is. We booked the meal at 5pm there was confusion in the bar area as the reservation was for 2 people but it was down for 5 people. There were only 3 tables occupied in the whole restaurant including ours. We were informed the 3 course menu deal was the chefs choice. Which we queried as we may not like the choice and wern’t actually given a choice. The soup to start was cauliflower which was obviously left overs puréed in Luke warm water and resembled mush which seperated from the water and tasted off. We did not eat this, we had a choice of burger or sandwich from a paper lunch menu, followed by a desert. The Angus beef burger was burnt & the chicken burger was a piece of chicken breast covered in a sauce ill fitting between a burger bun. The ice cream and chocolate torte was palatable. Noted is that other diners complained or left food and the dining room floor and restaurant toilet's needed cleaning . This was most disappointing as the hotel itself is nice and staff aimiable. Breakfast was better more staff on in uniform and attentive. On the whole we would stay again but would not have an evening meal in the restaurant.

This is a perfectly fine and clean travel hotel. The coffee at breakfast could be much improved, there could be a few more healthier options for food, the rooms were very clean and the little gummies at reception were tasty.

The room was very clean, staff was amazing, the parking is a bit expensive at QPark. Stayed during on one of the hottest day of the year and the AC was amazing

Excellent room, very clean with lovely shower & a modern feel. Room fridge was handy.

Decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant, terrible mistake. The starter was gambas pil pil, spicy prawns. They were dry, no sauce whatsoever and tasted like they had been dipped in tomato sauce. The side salad with it was sad and limp and had no salad dressing. The main arrived, pork, should have been with a risotto, none available so had chips. Once again the salad was sad and limp with no salad dressing. The meal was inedible. The pork was totally overcooked and tasted like old boots. Eventually a waiter came to take away my plate, not to check on the meal. I explained it was inedible, he at least agreed the pork was ruined. Breakfast was not much better, I picked the cooked items from the hot plates. Bacon, it was dry, left in the hot plate too long, potato, tomatoes, which were burnt and the driest sausage it has even been my misfortune to have on my plate. I asked for a freshly fried egg, it was burnt around the edges and didn't look at all attractive. The cup of coffee I simply couldn't finish. You have serious problems in the kitchen.

Excellent hotel and it’s location is perfect when visiting Sheffield. We were at a concert in city hall which is literally across the square . Will definitely recommend this hotel. Also the food in the restaurant is is good too 😉

We got an upgrade ? But didn’t tell us it was straight above the building site below that started jackhammering at 7.30 am so we had an early alarm!!!! And the door stop in the bathroom we both stubbed our toes on it rather a silly place to put it
