Clean and tidy room with very helpful and friendly staff. Food was also tasty - dinner & breakfast. Lovely setting with great walks along the Thames

Unfortunately it is not a right place for foreign traveler.

Lots of character, authentic, old inn (original part built circa 1690) set in beautiful countryside. Some parking on site at rear, but one evening we had to park on the roadside. (It is a quiet road so OK.) There is a nice seating area in a garden in front of the Inn. Nice ambiance overall. Staff are very friendly. Evening meal and breakfast were good. The double room we stayed in was sufficiently quiet and of an acceptable size. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area.

The Plough Inn is een heel leuk authentiek hotel. Echt een Engelse belevenis. Verzorgd en heerlijk ontbijt en mogelijkheid om te dineren. Op het platteland bij de Theems.

Chambre propre, personnel aux petits soins, petit déjeuner excellent, bar et dîner très agréable et très bon. Séjour inoubliable. On est reparti à regret.

Nous avons passé un super moment, l'hôtel est très cosy et soigné, notre chambre décorée avec goût et très propre, le dîner et le déjeuner extras! Et tout le monde a été adorable. Nous recommandons vivement !

This property is a beautiful country pub with friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time at the Plough Inn. The young lady who worked there could not do enough for us and she worked so hard from serving teas and coffees in the afternoon to helping with the evenings meals. All the staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was lovely overlooking the garden. Our meal was very nice and breakfast had good choices.

Staff were incredible and helpful for all our requests including local landmarks, the room was very clean. My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!

Comfortable stay 2 nights, lovely breakfast and evening meal in front of open fire, very friendly staff made the stay a great experience.

Rooms were nice and clean, cosy but comfy. Bed was comfy and the bathroom toiletries were lovely quality as were the big white fluffy bathroom towels. Breakfast was nice, the cooked breakfast was average but ok. The evening meal menu is limited and ok, but not the best pub food. Overall, it’s a nice quiet place to stay with a very good Indian restaurant nearby in Lechlade. Would recommend.

Great old pub / Inn. Rooms were comfortable and a wonderful breakfast.

Sunday roast, eaten at 4pm, felt like potatoes and Yorkshire pudding cooked many hours before. Had to ask for our room to be vacuumed as hadn't been done. Although restaurant shut at 5.30, hadn't expected the pub to be shut at 7. Nowhere to go, couldn't drive as we had drunk at lunch. Fire alarm, false alarm at 9.30pm. Both found the bed uncomfortable. Breakfast was good
