On entering the hotel we got a very warm welcome. The lady checking us in was excellent, warm and friendly. The room was thoughtfully laid out. Felt like a small apartment, especially with the mini kitchen area which was great. Some might think the room is a little small but we found it fine, we only slept there as we were out exploring most of the time. Everything was exceptionally clean in the room and corridors etc. Nice toiletries, fantastic shower and a GHD hairdryer. The room was quiet even with the window open. The heating/cooling controls were easy to work. The breakfast place they recommended, The Huxley was also excellent. The location of the hotel is excellent. Nice quiet street but It’s a short walk to either princess street or into Stockbridge. We’ve stayed in Edinburgh a few times and this was by far our favourite. Would definitely recommend. 10/10

The staff was always ready and willing to help.with arranging for taxis , making phone calls and providing great service during Happy Hour.. The rooms were clean and we loved the thick,heated bath towels. We loved the location....it was not far from attractions and a short ride fo the airport.

Stunning hotel in a great location, staff went above and beyond with a personalised, hand drawn, birthday card on arrival. They were super helpful recommending things for us to see and do too. Room was clean and tidy. Would absolutely stay again

An incredibly good experience. The hotel is new and as a result the whole stay felt very put together and comfortable. The staff are friendly & attentive, comfy beds, a great shower. Easy to access all areas. Very happy with the whole stay.

The Resident hotel is in an excellent location, close to Haymarket Station and Dean Village. A few minutes walk from Princess Street, with many bars, restaurants and shops. The staff are friendly and welcoming, serving complimentary drinks between 5-6pm every evening.

Beautiful hotel, nice size rooms, staff was amazing, great location, next to bus stations and about a 15-20min walk (if you don’t want to take the bus) to main tourist locations. Restaurants extremely close, safe and clean area, would 100% stay here again when I come back to Edinburgh!

This was a lovely little hotel that we chose because of the proximity to Edinburgh’s West End, it had great reviews for cleanliness and also the fact that each room had a small kitchenette in, with a fridge, crockery and cutlery and a microwave. The room was small, but had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The hotel is a bit further out ( which we knew and didn’t mind) at the very far end of Princes Street, but there were coffee shops, pubs and restaurants very close by. Lovely place, we’d stay there again!

Great space. Room was equipped with cutlery and a mini kitchen which allows us to bring pastries and snacks home to the room. Ideal location too just three blocks from Princes street. We bused everywhere, so many bus stops located around the city center. Recommend this property highly!

Electricity was out in the room. Staff fixed it in the morning but was quite annoying overnight. Otherwise great location and good size room, bit of a maze of a hotel
