Great for a stop off before picking up someone from their cruise. Only downside was there was no evening food available at the hotel. Places nearby though. Lovely, clean room.

Yes the rooms are outdated, however, it was perfect for our one night stay. It was clean and quiet. I would easily stay for a weekend! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The elevator was out of service, so we did get help with our luggage. Highly recommend it and there was plenty of great free parking on the property. I think they are working on making some updates to the place, which would be fantastic!

We pre booked and paid for dinner only to find at check in that dinner wasn’t available and we had been booked at a pub 10 minutes away by car. We didn’t want to drive again we wanted to eat and relax after a day of travel. As there wasn’t an alternative we didn’t go to the pub where the main course was fine but not what we wanted. Had we been informed that dinner wasn’t available we would have booked elsewhere.

Room was ok, staff were friendly at check in but not great at breakfast due to how long we were waiting with staff saying “it won’t be long” but we waited 45 minutes for pre paid breakfast and then had to leave. Hardly any plugs in the room made getting ready and doing anything difficult. Very loud guests outside all night.

Ideal location for visiting Southampton, there are some nice pubs only a short drive away. The breakfast was good lots to choose from. I stayed in the quadruple room on the top floor. It was big, spacious but a bit hot so we had four fans running. Very good overall

Clean room & friendly staff

1) The walls of the room are thin, and I could hear voices from the next room. The next room guests were having a video call during midnight, which was very noisy. 2) I didn't order breakfast, nor the staff asked if I wanted at check-in, but the hotel told me to pay £30 at check-out, which, they said, meant to be for the breakfast. I explained that I didn't order/eat breakfast and I should have paid the whole amount. They confirmed and canceled the charge. Why does this kind of mistake happen?

Lovely breakfast freshly cooked, plenty of parking, spotless room very friendly staff. If we have to go to that area again we would definitely go there if available
