Older hotel well located on the sea front and close to car parks, shops, eateries - easy walk to train station. Room was clean and well stocked - lovely shower. We would stay there again.

Great location with awesome views. A really nice suite with everything you need. Only issue would be the shower it has no pressure and is hard to regulate.

Location Location and comfort, delightful

Absolutely fantastic suite to just relax and look out of the window and watch the sea. Brilliant High Street with lots of wonderful shops near by. Will definitely be booking again but maybe for a longer stay.

Best location in Deal and the room was beautifully appointed. Online check-in and auto check-out were in keeping with the convenience focus of the hotel, and obviously leaves more investment for top notch facilities in the room. Exactly what we required for a one night stay for enjoying what Deal has to offer.

Great location and easy check in. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Only issue was the weather was bad and the wind was blowing through the windows which you could hear and feel and making the room cold. We ended up pulling the cutains which meant we lost the view. We went out a lot earlier than planned due to not being able to warm up!

Clear instructions, easy access and lovely room

Great location right opposite the pier. Rooms are very generous and the beds very comfortable. Parking was easy also as there is a carpark just behind the hotel (council operated).

We were very happy with the room chosen, and the bathroom facility was spotless.

Bed very uncomfortable

Our suite had amazing views and plenty of space for us to relax in. Check in/out was simple and reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lounge area did have damp in it, which i think is being tackled by a heating unit. We wouldve appreciated cutlery besides teaspoons, tools to wash up (plates, bowls, microwave provided and room adverised as having a kitchenette). The main bedroom didnt have a radiator, when we asked staff they advised the heater in the lounge should address the lounge and the bedroom... bit of a stretch on cold autumnal nights!

Ground floor room was noisy when people came in and out couldn’t open windows for air at night sofa was old and not comfortable but room was clean and bathroom nice

Great location on the beach front, short throw from pier and town centre. Clean room. Stayed in lighthouse suite on top floor. Great views and separate lounge (no lift and lots of stairs FYI). Car park easily accessible just out the back of premises.

Lovely clean room, easy access, pleasant helpful staff.

First visit to Deal. Had read the reviews and found the Clarendon fully met with expectations. Great view of the sun sea and sky, not to mention the pier! Truly a great spot. Parking nearby was easy. Dining options all within a very few minutes walk. Very easy to relax and have a great time at the Clarendon. The room was very adequate, a double bed which was comfortable and a fantastic bathroom with a very good shower. Quite a few stairs to negotiate from the entrance but apart from that all good.

The room was amazing, very clean and comfortable which was a bonus as it rained, so I was more than happy to be room bound for the afternoon and evening! Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly would highly recommend.

Very nice stay,and very friendly staff, but at night loud TVs and people voices to the early hours,needs someone there to cap it at midnight, otherwise very nice

Really nice hotel on Deal's seafront, near to the Pier. Quiet clean room, with bathroom, fridge, tea/coffee facilities and comfy bed. The staff were really polite and helpful too. Only qualification is there is no lift and some of the stairs are a bit steep, so it might not be easy for people with mobility issues. Apart from that, the Clarendon is a perfect place to stay in Deal!
