This is such a special place - the accommodation is charming, comfy and convenient, the spa facilities are SPECIAL, staff are lovely and helpful and the food was great. It's a true indie place within striking distance of many great walks, and equally a fab place just to chill and unwind. Gorgeous and so well looked after.

The room, although small ,had everything and more..homemade flapjack, ground coffee, fridge with water and mik in. The food and many drinks,locally sourced and beautiful. Tastes untasted before..lovely

This is our second time to stay at this property and it’s as good as the first time. Very nice dinner and service was impeccable even though they were so busy. Will definitely stay again. Well done Andy and George! Keep up the good work!

Such a magical stay at the Riverside at Aymestrey. The room was spotless, and I loved the fridge which meant fresh milk and chilled water were available all the time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, without being intrusive which made the stay a joy. The food was delicious! A lovely evening menu, lots of breakfast choices - beautiful homemade marmalade and pain Perdue and the most divine cheese platter with homemade bread and crackers. The outside space was lovely with flowers in bloom everywhere and gorgeous views over the valley! Thank you so much for the loveliest stay! Hoping for a revisit sometime soon!

Our room, Croft was a small suite. Very clean with ensuite and small fridge. Ideal. Breakfast was very tasty. We did not have an evening meal there.

We stayed in one of the wilderness cabins. It was really sweet and felt like a tree house type vibe. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of the birds. The food at the restaurant was excellent and would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place to stay but probably for one or 2 nights. The menu doesn’t change and there are no “specials “ so you have limited choice if eating there each night. Breakfast good but the fruit mentioned didn’t appear. The accommodation is up several flights of steps( we stayed with dogs) so your mobility has to be good

Lovely period gastopub right on the river Lugg. Lovely light and fresh accommodation. Food all delicious with a great selection. Their eco wellness spa facilities was a real treat to hire as well, a gorgeous spot to relax in. My wife loved her massage with Charlene as well. Definitely recommend

Another incredible stay! The staff are always so welcoming and kind, George is just fantastic and so attentive and friendly. The food as usual is delicious, beautiful local produce. The rooms as usual are so clean and super comfy beds. The spa facilities are fantastic. Five stars again from us!!

We were very pleased with our room after booking last minute. We had a large living area which was very cosy. We requested a travel cot which was ready in the room waiting with sheets and blankets. The cot unfortunately would not fit in our bedroom, so we positioned it against the back of the sofa outside our bedroom door. We did have to use blankets to block the breeze coming through the bottom of the door as it was close to the cot but this worked fine. The breakfast in the morning was nice, as a pescatarian I would have loved the option to have the cooked breakfast minus the meat, but the veggie options were still good. The river alongside is really lovely. we had planned to go for a run in the morning but there were no routes that avoided running along unpaved roads. We did not use the spa facilities as this wouldn't work having our baby with us.We will definitely stay here again when visitng my sister nearby!

What a wonderful place - beautiful rooms, amazing service from George and the spa facilities on the hill were wonderful. Not to mention the incredible food. We are rebooking already!

Staff are fantastic, namely George, friendly and helpful. Lovely room with everything you need. Great setting with walks from the front door. The food is outstanding, we will definitely be back for another meal in the future.

The Riverside is in a gorgeous location and we had a lovely stay. We really enjoyed the cosy bar area and drinks by the fire followed by an exceptionally fine dinner. And breakfast too was top notch. All the staff were kind and helpful and absolutely recommend coming here.
