Nice clean room. Reasonably priced. Very friendly,and helpful staff.

Mouldy bathrooms and dusty surfaces. Left early and requested a refund as it’s a health hazard.

Awful. This place is at the back of some kind of children's zoo activity and motoring place. I checked in late. I tried to call them using the property number given but it is the wrong number!! I messaged to say I was going to be late. They said ok. When I told them their number doesn't work they seemed unbothered. When I arrived at 7pm to my shock they said the room is not ready! It should have been ready from 1pm. The staff member shoved me into some 'holding' room saying the room is being cleaned. I asked them what would have happened if I arrived at 1pm to check in? Was told they are short staffed. Not acceptable. After about 8 - 10 minutes I was shown to room. First thing was the overpowering smell of a Yankee Candle (black cherry scent). I immediately blew it out. The room smelt old & musty. Anyway staff was 'friendly' enough, offering a fan because it was hot, and put some ice water in a bowl the room at my request because it was stuffy. It looked clean on the surface but the carpeted floor was filthy.. The fan I took from the wardrobe was full of dust. There was no hangers so I hung my clothes around the pole - my clothes had the dusty pole mark on it. The extractor fan in the bathroom was full of dirt, and the chair had stain marks on. I didn't want to sleep on that bed so I slept in my dressing gown and my own top for a pillow. Felt dirty and horrible and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Not worth the money and should not be on Expedia.

Lovely place to stay. Motel style and noisy corridors. You can park right outside your door. Near the motorway. Very clean and comfortable and very helpful staff. Great value for money.

Clean room nice area

The receptionist was very helpful and polite. The room was clean. The only negative was the mattress being low quality and too soft.

The staff were lovely and made me feel very welcome. There is ample free parking on site and my room exceeded my expectation, with bottled water, biscuits and tea/coffee. A comfy double bed with a TV with a selection of movies on demand and a heating unit which I was very grateful for as it was Christmas. Overall, a lovely place to stay with good people all amongst Epping forest. Will definitely stay again when I am down that way. Thank you!

Surprisingly lovely for an overnight stay . The staff was very friendly . Very handy if you are visiting friends around Loughton area and miller and Carter restaurant is 5mins drive away. Thank you so much

The room smelt kind of swampy and the bed was uncomfortable. The shower head was also pointed across the room and couldn't be adjusted, so don't leave your socks on the side of the sink. The plug sockets weren't held on properly, and there wasn't any shower gel. Other than that, it was pretty dicey.

Last minute booking and was easy to check in late at night , Its on a road that is busy so not very quiet but its not a problem, was clean and comfortable staff are very friendly and helpful definitely book again as convenient and value

The layout of the room was good. Unfortunately it needed a good refurb. Carpers and seating stained. 1 small sofa for 3 people so my daughter had to sit on a stool. Facilities were good. Fridge was smelly. Heater was very noisy but as 3 heaters was able to turn the one in the bedroom off. Stank of cigarettes. But very friendly staff. Tokd tge cafe would be open but everything was closed on the Sunday. No staff to check out. Ok for 1 night.

difficult to be sure you were at the correct place - no business name. check in was in what seemed to be an old cafe of sorts. Very friendly check in. room was at the end of a passage next to a room (laundry for hotel) which was tied up with some sort of cloth - see picture when returned after first night to see the linen room. view outside terrible could do with a cut back. neighbours up after 12 bashing something in their back yard (why i assume there are residents there as they have access to the back yard. bed comfortable, had a good heater in and room clean. bathroom clean but falling apart - hand rail would not hold a towel, toilet looked like it was about to fall over (especially when in the bath). it looks like it was a hotel and now there are permanent residents in the rooms - expensive cars outside made me think this was the case. no one there when checking out - left key card back in room on bed

Ive stayed here a few times and each time there has been renovations going on and can see a good improvement. Its close to London and convenient for access to motorways , its basic budget rooms are like a motel , they are clean and furnished, nicely decorated and comfortable. They are priced very affordable and has wifi and parking . I will and would recommend this budget hotel for price convenient location for travel on and out of london its a really great place to stay .
