Wouldn't suit everyone but exactly what we were looking for - simple and straight forward check in and check out via codes and key boxes. Excellent communication from the hotel prior, during and after the trip. Clean room and tea and coffee provided. For a quick stay, or somewhere convenient if in business, this hotel is idea. Plenty of parking out the back in designated spaces by also a far bit of on road parking too.

No reception which was a bit strange although understand that is the future. The emergency porter available to answer any questions and easy to come and go. Comfortable beds!

We enjoyed our stay, however the bed was only small my 6’1 husbands feet hung over the end, other than that it was comfortable. Its a good 15 minute walk into town for a restaurant but there are plenty of take aways about 150 yards away, and a pub about a 5 minute walk. Our room was at the back overlooking the river so it was lovely and quiet.

There are no staff but check in worked well. The artwork was splendid. The river was more of a stream. The beds were comfortable. The TV screen was massive. Good hotel for an overnight stay.

Very good location, easy to connect to all main tourist sites. Few supermarkets nearby (few minutes by foot). Host is very helful.

The hotel does not have personnel in the front desk. They said they sent a code by mail. Well, never happened. A hotel needs a front desk, for many reasons. NEVER AGAIN

Easy to access and to park

Quite a strange place as no staff on site, was ok for what we needed but not much character. Loud neighbours in the corridors at 7am after a wedding wasn’t ideal. Showers are electric so pretty weak. Beds were v comfy though and had hairdryer and tea and cofffee station.

Excellent modern, clean hotel. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. Free parking. First time staying there so received code after 2pm, for check in after 3pm. The code accessed the building and our allocated room key. Kettle with coffee/tea in room. Electric shower. The room was spotless and spacious. Comfy beds. The only downside is approx 10 min walk to the town centre but pleasant nonetheless. Would recommend.

Clean room, no staff as it was all done remotely. Dreadful shower, no power at all. Broken side light and the smallest TV ever!

Spotless room good location and easy to utilise

Before booking, we read the description of the hotel and the reviews and looked at the location on Google Maps. When we arrived, we found that the hotel and room were exactly what we thought we'd get -- a quiet, very clean, and thoughtfully designed space in a location that allowed for a cheaper price. It's a pleasant and easy (assuming health and ability) 15-minute stroll into town. There's plenty of safe parking. The communal kitchen is a brilliant addition, though we didn't use it on this occasion. Everything felt fresh and clean. Some reviewers have complained about the cold taps in the bathroom, but we had both hot and cold taps, seemingly new. Some have complained about the cold bathrooms, but we had a bathroom heater that could be set for up to four hours and warmed the space nicely. Some reviewers commented that not having a reception desk felt a bit weird, but we've stayed at places like this in other countries when travelling and were perfectly happy with the arrangement. When I asked a question by email, even late in the evening, I got a reply very quickly. We were very happy with our stay and would easily stay there again.

All good but the online check in process was cumbersome and time consuming. You must remember to have ID DOCUMENTS on you when you start this process. Once inside it took me a while to locate the key boxes… I couldn’t see any signs telling me where they were. Otherwise room and cleanliness were excellent . I’d stay again and it would be easier as I now have the experience of how it all works.

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed but no staff around. You need to do everything by yourself. They give you notes to follow the rules.

Room was spotless. Efficient and seamless check-in online. Secure parking spot. Love the central location. Very good and enjoyable stay.
