Whilst the room itself was well fitted we did find a couple of issues. The first was that the only contact with the owners/staff was via mobile phone. Secondly, we were there during the heatwave and the room, 4, was located in the roof space. This meant that the room was extremely hot and humid. Whilst a small fan unit was supplied, it had little effect making sleep extremely uncomfortable. Perhaps a portable a/C unit would have been more effective. Finally we found that the bottom step on the stairs was deeper than the rest. This was not as noticeable going up but coming down was moreso and for someone less stable may have caused a problem

No staff at the accommodation but instructions to enter the property went very well. Very close to restaurants - we loved Esme’s kitchen and bakery. Delicious food and friendly, helpful staff. Only criticism I have is that Britannia Thai food was recommended with 15% reduction for guests. They didn’t seem too happy when we asked but did give us 10%. The food was excellent though.

The room itself was clean, functional with enough space and good facilities. However we didn't realize the property was a converted house (and our room was upstairs). This didn't jive with the pictures of the chalet bungalows we had seen on the website. Perhaps we didn't pay enough attention when booking, but we felt rather misled by the lovely pictures of the converted back garden and chalet rooms. Be aware of presence of a pub behind the property (ear plugs provided) and that check-in and out is self service
