Welcoming staff and helpful

We really enjoyed our stay at The Wiremill. A lovely place in a beautiful setting with history and great characte. We enjoyed our food and drinks overlooking the lake. We will be back thank you

Das Inn an sich ist schön. Es hat eine wunderbare Lage direkt am See und besonders das House cleaning Personal ist sehr freundlich. Allerdings sollte man wissen wofür man das Zimmer bucht. Wenn man nur für 2-3 Nächte da ist, ist es absolut ausreichend. Es gibt einen Schlafbereich und ein angrenzendes Bad. Im schlafbereich gibt es keinen Stauraum für Klamotten oder Koffer. Entsprechend muss man aus den Koffern leben, und damit leben, dass die Koffer hier und da im Weg stehen. Da die Lüftung der Badezimmers sehr schwach ist, bleibt die Feuchtigkeit im Badezimmer bzw. zieht in den Schlafbereich. Daher ist die Luft die gesamte Zeit über sehr feucht. Man kann die Fenster öffnen, um etwas frische Luft herein zubringen. Das House Cleaning ist jeden Tag da und tauscht die Wäsche aus und versucht auch die feuchten Luft "herauszubringen". Hervorzuheben ist auch, dass es jeden Tag 2 x 0,33 Dosen stilles Wasser hingestellt wird, sowie Kaffee, Tee und Biskuits aufgefüllt werden. Ein Föhn und ein Ventilator sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Einen Kühlschrank oder Klimaanlage leider nicht. Entsprechend stelle ich mir vor, dass es bei einer Hitzewelle unangenehm wird. Wir hatten nur zwischen 23 und 25 Grad. Durch die Feuchtigkeit im Raum war es damit auch warm genug. Frühstück gibt es nur Freitags bis Sonntags. Der Pub ist morgens und abends sehr gut besucht. Alles in allem kann man im Wiremill gut absteigen, solange man weiss, dass es ein Inn ist und kein Hotel.

the staff were amazing really hospitable anything we needed they helped with great attitude . adrian jack Daniels and all the staff were amazing lovely people I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Fabulous place. Rooms gorgeous, staff lovely, very welcoming. Pub lovely with a great view, loads of parking, shower great. Only a few rooms so no noise. We had an early flight from Gatwick which was 12 minutes to our long stay car park. Sorry - but have to say - bad form about food. Called up twice and the company have AI answering calls. Asked what time food ends - twice it said 10pm. Had been in work since 6am to get early dart, was absolutely starving. Food ended at 8. Everything else wonderful but sort that out. Either put food times on website or switch off your AI. Will be back at totally worth it for the price. *****

Comfortable room, friendly staff in a lovely location. For the modest price that I paid, this place is great!

The wire mill, a 15th Century Water Mill, is place to rest and relax by the waters edge, warm and cosy its not long before you drift off to the land of nod oh life can be a dream sweetheart!

Bar offered good selection of food - no breakfast options Monday to Friday but that wasn't an issue for me. Staff and service was excellent - would definitely recommend.

My room must have been directly underneath the bar constant banging and scraping above me until at least midnight was trying to get an early night. Third time this has happened won’t be going again.

Lovely place to stay :)

The WireMill is in a wonderful location. It is an old building which has been nicely updated. The staff are all very good and Jack was great My over all stay was both relaxing and enjoyable

Perfect location for attending the London Temple nearby. Restaurant upstairs was lovely and the food was delicious. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature could have been cooler, but we had no thermostat in the room so we opened the ground floor window.

Such a lovely old pub but sadly our room was under the kitchen of the pub. The noise was excessive to the point that at 22.40 i called the customer service line regarding the banging and crashing coming from above. We were told to wait till the morning and inform who was in charge which we did as the noise didn't stop till much later. On discussing this this morning nothing was said just a shrug of shoulders. Our Money had been taken so it seemed didn't matter to them. Such a shame unfortunately wouldn't stay again and would not recommend it either. 😒
