Great garden to sit in. Excellent breakfast

Lovely hotel, but our room was very small. We were travelling with our dog who usually sleeps in a crate and there was minimal space for this.

Great place to stop for business and pleasure

We had a lovely one night stay with our 2 dogs. The hotel room was beautifully presented and very clean. Quiet and comfy. Super dog friendly, the staff were lovely.

Nice spacious room. Modern bathroom. Good hot shower. Foos tasty but we felt a little pricey.

Lovely friendly rustic Inn fabulous surroundings and really a great pleasure to visit. Rooms comfortable well equipped and food in the restaurant was outstanding and not badly priced. Breakfast was excellent!

Lovely property and location. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Some of the bar seating seemed a bit tired. Could do with some comfortable seating areas too. For me the size of the room seemed very small for the price.

Staff great, room good. Breakfast 3/10 ... one point for the cup of tea, one point for having HP sauce & one point for butter OK ... breakfast itself - dreaful!

This Inn is so gorgeous. I love the feel of it, the staff were friendly, my warm was cozy and warm and comfortable! Plus breakfast was included 🌟

We had a lovely weekend at the Pheasant with friends. Our room was really nice, large enough with a massive bathroom (in the main hotel). The food was excellent, some really different items on the menu and breakfast was fresh and quickly delivered. The only reason i have not given 5 stars is they were understaffed. The staff were lovely but really busy. There was no one serving in the bar on the Sunday and tables were not cleaned. I felt sorry as the staff that were there worked really hard and they were great. Also, car parking was a bit manic. But a great weekend and we will be back.

The hotel was a terrible experience. The staff were rude and unprofessional and racially biased, and the rooms were dirty and infested with insects. The television in our room did not work, and when we asked for help, the staff were unresponsive. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good clean room in a busy inn

Stayed here 7 years ago and it was excellent, especially the food. Now, it’s very expensive, hasn’t been maintained and the food offering is average at best. I was disappointed to be honest. The Pheasant Inn is now part of a chain and cost has obviously been stripped out. I won’t visit again.

Great place to stay when working away

Really really small room and very very expensive. Breakfast was good though and things were clean so not terrible but not great either.
