My room was at the side of the building, it was quiet, reasonably cool given the hot weather, the shower was fine, the really good thing about it is the location.Ten mins from the railway s tree action, plenty of places to eat, and good walks

Carpark was awful and not big enough for amount of rooms has very narrow access at side of building front door lock missing broken off room shower full of mould and mirror al covered in mould in the room would never stay again

The hotel was perfect for six guys who'd just been at Goodwood Speed Week and wanted three twin rooms. Beds were comfortable, furnishings satisfactory, but maybe better towels would have been nice. Options for evening meals for ok and hotel had parking, albeit large vehicles might not squeeze through to rear parking. Will return. Thank you

Finding hotel - Not easy. On main road. Easily missed Check in - No staff. Shouted "hello" a few times. No answer. Knocked on the nearby door a few times, no reply. After a few minutes a girl 4 to 5 years old came out. Soon followed a pleasant lady. Took her a little while to find booking. She handed over the key & went in. Our room on 2nd floor, no lift, narrow stairs beyond 1st floor. Room - size & shower ok, bed comfortable, reasonably quiet, some traffic noise, blind at the window didn't work, had to hang towels to make room dark enough to sleep in. Parking - Hotels.com stated "parking available and free". On the day before I called the contact number provided by hotels.com to find out the number of parking spaces but no answer. No reply to SMS. 3 parking spaces in the front. One already taken by a van. I was lucky to park in one. Later blocked by a van. Rear car park has about 7 spaces but access is dangerously narrow. There are about 25 rooms. The lady who checked us in didn't know if there was any parking available near-by if I took my car out in the evening and didn't find any space on return. From room I called number given by hotels.com to find out WiFi PW & how to enter hotel if door was locked. The man who answered was obnoxious. Asked me who had given me the number in aggressive manner as if I was not supposed to have it. Told me to go down to lady for wi fi PW & disconnected. Subsequent calls went to voice mail. Parking potentially major issue, Not a hotel

Plenty of parking and close to shops, rooms are tidy.

I stayed here for 4 nights in April 2026. The double room i had needed a proper clean. The shower had a lot of scum build up around the edges. The towels smell foisty like they've not been washed hot enough (need to be 60 degrees to kill bacteria). I had to go buy my own towel as the second set of towels I got smelled the same which is not good. The double bed for me as a 6ft2 person was too small and had to sleep diagonal to fit due to the wooden frame (divan beds are better for hotels due to this issue for taller guests). The heating turned off at around 7pm and came back on at 6am. The first night I woke up freezing. There was no way to turn the heating on as its central. I had to go out and buy an electric heater for the other nights. The duvet and pillows could do with changing as they are old and duvet is too thin. I will say the bed sheets were clean though. There was black mould on parts of the ceiling and a hole in the door. The door handle was also loose. This place could be better if they paid attention to some of the details and please at a minimum wash the towels better! Ideally get new ones as these coloured ones looked very dated. I think this place used to be well looked after but its been run down a bit which is a shame.

As a budget hotel it’s ok for the price, but the decoration needs refreshing & the car park cleared of rubbish & boarders trimmed back - OK for isolated stays but not ongoing stays for professional people.

Bedding dated although bed comfy bathroom horrible as stank of sewage made me retch justto go in there so couldnt shower as anything longer the urinatuon would make u sick room was cold heating only cane on intermittenly so woke yp frozen in morning

The woman sitting at a tiny table with a laptop got every room mixed up, I ended up in a family room with my sibling, my 2 elderly great aunts were put in a double and my great uncle ended up in a single room which was in the attic, she had no idea and obviously gave the rooms to all the wrong people despite me showing her my booking! The whole place smelt damp and was dirty throughout, the beds were disgusting as was everything else, couldn't wait to get out of that horrible old rundown awful 'guest house'

Good stay if you're not going to be spending much time in your hotel room as there was black mold and spider webs in my hotel room. Amenities were lacking and no room service or cleaning done for the entire stay. However, staff were very nice and helpful. Might go back.

Room was okay, although I had to ask for some of the handles to be cleaned as they were still sticky from the last occupant. Bed sheets were less than luxurious making me wonder if they were part nylon.

Room was okay, lots of staining on the door and a broken door into the bathroom. Bed was too small for someone over 6ft, and the toilet was too close to the shower to really sit on. No information given about breakfast or staff on hand to ask when I went down in the morning. No lockbox for returning keys just left on the desk.
