Great hotel!

Stayed three nights for May bank holiday weekend. Beautifully styled throughout, the rooms and public areas were all clean and well maintained. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly - particularly notable was how they kept in touch via messages, responding to our questions around the clock. They really seemed interested if there was anything we needed or wanted during our stay. The breakfasts were fresh and tasty, consisting of well stocked continental buffet offerings and some nice cooked to order egg options. The one night we took dinner here, the à la carte food quality was excellent. The small Spa facility is a nice additional feature. We loved the hotel location. It’s an easy walk to the big attractions but is also conveniently close to the parkland of the Villa Borghese, and the riverside of the Tiber. The shopping destinations of the via dei condotti were easy to reach in under fifteen minutes too. The area around the hotel had a relative sense of calm but we found plenty of restaurants, delis, and convenience stores nearby. Overall, an excellent stay.

Great beds. Standard European buffet for breakfast with cooked-to order eggs. (The chef did them well, scrambled, poached, etc. ) Best waitperson and always kind, is Katia. She was cheerful and professional. Front desk were helpful and prompt in sorting out airline issues, hiring tour guides, securing taxis, etc. I walk with a cane (stick) and require showers not deep-soak bathtubs and this hotel has them. Location is unbeatable for access to Piazza de Poppolo and good restaurants. There are all good things to say about this small, quiet hotel. We felt very safe and never were harassed day or night on the streets around The Goethe.... It’s a bit of a hike but doable for the Spanish Steps. Crowds there kept us away from standing on them!

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Breakfast had a wide variety to choose from. The staff was very helpful.

Séjour plus que parfait ! Un établissement très raffiné. Avec un personnel dévoué qui reste discret ! La chambre est grande, décorée avec goût. Propreté impeccable ! Et parfaitement insonorisée. Petit déjeuner très bon. Idéalement situé à deux pas de la Piazza del Popolo.20 minutes à pied, du Vatican! Les petits Restaurants bien sympathiques tout autour de l’hôtel. Bref, enchantée par ce séjour à Rome, je recommande cet hôtel sans hésitation, c’est un sans-faute. Bravo !

Staff were incredible, attentive without being intrusive. Hotel is gorgeous. Breakfast delicious. The spa an extra treat after a long day exploring. Location is great easy to walk everywhere and also close to a metro. Wonderful stay

A super smart boutique hotel in a lovely part of Rome. Just 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 15 from the Trevi Fountain & 25 from the Vatican - perfectly located. Beautiful room & bathroom - very quiet. Very helpful staff. The bar & restaurant are stylish & relaxing. The continental breakfast had an extensive selection of items with cooked options included along with à la carte ones too. Would thoroughly recommend staying here & woud definitely return.

Management Reversed Written Agreement & Ignored Guest Safety My experience at The Goethe Hotel Roma reflects a severe breakdown in management integrity and guest protection. Management explicitly approved a proposed solution in writing. Upon arrival, the Front Desk confirmed and implemented that agreement. Hours later, the hotel reversed its position, claiming there had been a “misunderstanding,” and demanded a significantly higher rate. Emails from management were later treated as if they carried no authority. Confirmation messages were ignored. Compensation promises were withdrawn. This is not a pricing dispute. This is a credibility issue. Even more concerning, housekeeping entered my room without knocking while I was inside. No explanation or acknowledgment was provided. Written commitments were denied. Staff were left contradicting management. Guest concerns were dismissed. For a property affiliated with SLH and connected to Hilton Honors, this level of inconsistency and disregard for privacy is alarming. Travelers should be aware.

Hermosísimo hotel, la decoración impecable , muy amables, atención excepcional , excelente ubicación, Servicios de bar muy padre. Definitivamente vuelvo . Desayuno incluido delicioso. Tiene spa incluído .

The hotel is amazing and the rooms are not only spacious, but well appointed. It’s a must stay in Rome!

Everything about this hotel was amazing. It is a small and intimate hotel in a central yet very quiet location. The entire place shines with cleanliness and good taste. The staff are always smiling and attentive, and they proactively offer help. Breakfast is good, with a lovely and friendly team. The hotel has a spa that can also be used privately, without other guests, for a limited time and free of charge. We booked the best suite in the hotel and it was perfect – a huge, comfortable bed and a spacious room, beautifully designed and very comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel.
