It’s a place where you can truly relax from the heart.
We chose it as our base for visiting Saqqara on the last day of our Egypt trip, and it ended up being the best memory of our entire journey.
The facilities are new and very clean.
The property is surrounded by walls, so we felt completely safe during our stay.
Although it’s a bit far from Cairo Airport, we had no problem getting there by Uber.
Upon arrival and during breakfast, we were kindly served drinks and fresh, delicious fruits.
The night before, we asked the owner if he could drive us around Saqqara and Dahshur, and he gladly accepted (for a reasonable fee, of course).
The owner is extremely kind.
It never felt like he was doing things for tips—he genuinely wanted to make travelers feel welcome.
Some reviews mentioned issues with water supply, power outages, or insects, but we didn’t experience any of those problems.
Notes:
1. There are dogs and cats in the garden, so people who aren’t comfortable with animals might want to keep that in mind.
2. In my room, the shower was positioned so that the toilet paper would definitely get wet when used. You should move the toilet paper elsewhere beforehand.
3. We were the only guests during our stay, so we could enjoy the garden all to ourselves. However, if you stay at the same time as a large group, it might be harder to enjoy the garden privately.
