10 miles off highway on a dirt rd No signs STEEP stairs to bedrooms No heat unless you make a fire I asked them to make us a fire and 30 minutes later they are still trying No one speaks eEnglish

The cabin is a beautiful unique wooden structure, beautifully furnished, in the middle of nowhere. It is basic but has everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly helpful, provided firewood and answered our questions. A few additional pillows would have been nice but otherwise we loved being able to walk through the meadows to the river and build dams, being able to build a fire and snuggle up in the evenings in silence. A really magical experience.

A lot of space, quiet surroundings, nice views, quick responding on questions and helpfull, services is good (clean towels, fire wood, etc.), friendly. Not a lot of light in the house, a lot of mosquitos in the summertime, the wifi didn't work (they tried to fix it though), it took a long time for the toilet to fill itself again

Stay was Pleasant. Need more lighting and proper direction to find the cottage. Host was extremely friendly and helped us above and beyond to find cottage and also sent help right away when toilet flick was malfunctioning at 10:45 pm in night.

Garbage property.

It would have been nice to have been warned about the road going into the property. I didn’t realize that it was a service road until we were halfway there

Great hospitality. Lots of fire wood!

The onsite manager was great. He’s not the issue. Moving on, I’m glad to be alive. The cabins are old, there was one space heater for two rooms. My wife is icing her back every few hours because the bed was so old and hard. My neck aches. The place was honestly creepy.

Well... so far is a good experience. location is 1 hours 30 minutes from Lake Louise, we almost want to cancel because we are not expecting that far. but ended up we continued to stay. It is quite and Max is very helpful with all what we need. Location is in Golden BC, but its a nice view on the way to cabin. make sure not driving in the night or dark time. Bring your own food for dinner or bfast. No restaurant surrounding.

The property was beautiful. Make sure to stock up on food before you head out it’s a bit of a jog to the nearest grocery store.

A lovely privats cabin within quiet, stunning scenery. The cabin had many features in their kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms - including a wood stove (firewood available for sale). Stairs/ladder up to bedrooms will be problematic for those with mobility issues. But bring all your insect repellant and groceries (incl freezer packs as there is no freezer) as it's a long 45 min drive one way along a potholed forest service road and highway to Field
