An exclusive, small hotel by the sea with two very good restaurants.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and staff just goes out of their way to help. Fantastic team of professionals with great sense of humour. I want to thank again for making my birthday so special. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, je nach Arrangement aber auch klein oder etwas lärmig (Kühlanlage, Küche) gelegen. Die Anlage ist fantastisch, das Personal äußert zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück grosszügig - je nachdem muss man hier aber noch zusätzlich zahlen, wenn man was spezielles will. Und jetzt kommen die beiden schlechten Punkte. Der Hotelstrand ist ungepflegt - der Sand wird nicht gesäubert, der Zugang zum Meer ist mit Algen ‚versperrt‘. Das Essen im Hotel ist abartig teuer… (kleine Portionen - french cuisine) sogar wenn man sich Schweizerpreise gewohnt ist. Ein Abendessen mit Vor- und Hauptspeise und wenn noch mit einem oder zwei Glas Wein kostet mindestens 160 - 200 Euro. Jedes zusätzlich Bestellte wird separat verrechnet (etwas Gemüse zB. 12 Euro), eine Flasche Wasser im Zimmer 7 Euro. Das Hotel, die Anlage ist traumhaft und einen Urlaub wert. Die ‚inhouse’ Preise und der Strand sind jedoch ein grosser Minuspunkt.

One of the most tranquil places I’ve ever visited. The hotel was fully booked during our stay, yet there were always plenty of sunbeds available and no shortage of tables at the restaurants. Despite being at full capacity, the resort never felt crowded, and we always found plenty of space to relax wherever we wanted. The food was excellent at both the grill restaurant and the more refined alternative, Le Palme. The seafood was particularly outstanding. For anyone interested in Sardinian wines, the hotel’s wine cellar is a real highlight, featuring top producers, vintages, and styles from across the island. We also did a wine tasting with Salvatore, one of the sommeliers, who shared a wealth of knowledge about Sardinian wine. A truly top-quality experience. The only downside of the resort is the gym. The selection of equipment is very limited, and the quality does not match the standard of the rest of the property. Most of the equipment feels quite basic and inexpensive. Investing in a few pieces of high-quality equipment would be a relatively modest expense for the hotel and would significantly enhance the overall guest experience.

Amazing staff, best service I have experienced.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot. The gardens, which were immaculate, lead onto a stunning beach. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Manager bent over backwards to put right the little things that went wrong. Breakfast was very good (although I prefer a self service option at breakfast). Drink, particularly wine, was very expensive.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and we were blown away by the immaculate hotel, world class service and delicious food and drink here. The beach is beautiful, gardens pristine and rooms immaculate. It was extra special as we got engaged out here and the hotel staff were exceptional in helping me create a private, memorable occasion for us. Special thanks to Francesca, Matteo and Diego for their exceptional service. La Villa del Re holds a special place in our hearts and we will certainly be back. Grazie mille!

One of our favourite hotels. We come here to do nothing, relax by the pool or beach, swim a bit and read. The staff are exceptional, 2 brilliant restaurants and a fantastic bar.

We had a great stay. The place is wonderful, calm, the beach is beautiful and the staff are very attentive! The restaurant is very good (especially the one upstairs) it's a shame that the one at the bar isn't as good! €30 for a Caesar salad that isn't worth it, it's disappointing! We of course recommend the place which is magnificent

Lovely large junior suite/room 222, sometimes noisy as above the restaurant, small balcony. Lovely setting with easy access to beaches, with sun beds and with crystal clear waters. Staff were all amazing, very attentive, professional and kind. Two lovely fine dining restaurants and poolside bar/snack area. Would recommend highly.

This was by far one of our favorite places we’ve ever traveled to! This was our final stop on our two week honeymoon trip around Italy and it was the perfect place to end our journey. From the moment you walk in, you can tell how much the staff values the quality of your stay. No detail was missed and everyone was extremely kind and customer service oriented. We can’t say enough good things about this place! Great food, great property, great drinks and very relaxing! We will be back!

The property was beautiful, but the beach was moved, and there was no food or beverage service at the beach or quilting by the pool. Rooms were small, and staff repeatedly forgot to make our dinner reservations. Nice, but not a 5 star hotel.
