Didn't sleep on Friday night. The bar played music till 2am which was audible in the room. Up out of the hard bed at 5 for my flight.

Morgenmad var ok, personale kan jeg ikke sige noget om, da vi nærmest ikke så personale. Hotellets beliggenhed er suveræn i forhold til at kunne gå rundt i Riga eller hoppe påsporvogn og bus, og hotellets historie og velbevarede interiør er fascinerede og del af Letlands og Riga’s kulturarv og historie.

Well situated on the edge of the old town. All self checkin which actually worked well, I arrived early & sent a querie about the luggage room & received a swift reply with the door code. Superb gigantic & beautiful room, it’s oldie worldly not a sleek & modern business hotel; personal taste, I liked it. Cocktail bar on the first floor, again beautiful setting however the kitchen is only available Fri & Sat. I didn’t have breakfast in the hotel, lots of cafe’s & the amazing food market close by. Only negative for me was shower needed a new shower head.

Quirky hotel with an interesting history. The breakfast was good but some days not available due to the chef being absent from work. I think the hotel needs to employ more people!

Schöne Zimmer, leider nicht ganz so sauber. Lage ist toll, nahe der Altstadt.

Very convenient place but the hotel is a little bit outdated and needs renovations. The self check in was an easy to follow with all instructions.

I loved the look of the building inside and outside. Their breakfast was very good but I think it was a little pricey at $18 a person. I was able to find breakfast for a little less at the surrounding cafes. The self check in was easy. I have read complaints about the rooms and service but they always responded to me quickly through WhatsApp. I did have some issues with my original room. One of the curtains was torn, the cold box was not working and there was a fairly large tear in the carpet that I kept tripping over. When I notified them of these issues the moved me to another room. All in all my stay at the Benjamin House was wonderful! The only complaint I have is you have to request housekeeping if you are staying more than three days. My husband works in Riga at this time so I was there for 2 weeks spending time with him and I had to request housekeeping about every 3 days. If I’m staying somewhere for 2 weeks I don’t feel like I should have to request housekeeping but other than that I enjoyed my stay at the Benjamin House.
