Dar Almajula is one of the best hotels I have ever visit! The whole property, garden, pool and rooms are very clean and so beautifully decorated, it is very peaceful. and lovely decorated. Laurence, the host is wonderful and makes her utmost to make the guests feel at home. One can also have dinner and during the day one can also get lunch too. All at very reasonable prices. The Dar (house) is situated outside Essaouira but I would recommend the Dar to anyone with or without a car. One can get a taxi and is in 15min in Essaouira.

If you are looking for a breather from the hustle and bustle, let this be your choice! Located just a few kilometres from Essaouira, Laurence and Alain have thoughtfully created just that, with lovely accomodation leading out onto a heated pool next to a welcoming restaurant. What makes this place extra special is the personal service by the owners and their chef, Mehdi, who prepared us delicious three course dinners in the evening at a very reasonable price. We felt totally spoilt and didn't want to leave.
