Great location – van Gogh Museum short walk, airport bus short walk, supermarkets short walk. Very convenient location wise. Compact rooms – to be expected ! Our bathroom sink hardly flowed and was not sorted out which was a hassle; staff friendly and (as with most people in Amsterdam ) spoke English.

Hotellet har utmerket plassering. Gangavstand til det man ønsker og burde oppleve. Stille gater og lite støy. Gode senger og rent sengetøy. Svært hyggelig personale. Koselig hotell, men gammel bygning, så det var litt slitt og luktet til tider litt av avløpet. Fungerte utmerket til jentetur hvor vi kun trengte en plass å sove og oppholde oss.

The staff members were all very polite and extremely helpful (arranging taxis, lending out a phone charger, extra towels, barista service). The hotel was within walking distance of many museums, countless restaurants and shops. All in all, a very good location. The rooms were small, but quiet, comfortable and clean.

This hotel was across the street from Vondelpark. Very walkable to museums. And many restaurants. I would stay there again. While the hotel did not have a restaurant, we were getting over jet lag so would have not gotten up in time to eat breakfast anyway. They did say they were working on opening a breakfast cafe.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein aber gemütlich. Mein Blick war auf einen kuscheligen Hinterhof. Dort habe ich, obwohl das Hotel an einer großen Straße lag, nichts vom Verkehr gehört. Schöne Cafés, Museen, Restaurants und mehrere StraBa-Stationen sind fußläufig gut erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Neuer Kaffee oder sonstiges ist kein Problem. Jedes Mal, wenn man an der Rezeption vorbeikommt, gibt es ein liebes Lächeln. Zu bemängeln habe ich lediglich den Wasserdruck in der Dusche. Auch wenn man den Hahn ganz aufdreht, kommt das Wasser aus der Brause nicht mal bis zur Hälfte der Dusche. Um sich also abzubrausen, muss man mit dem Gesicht fast schon an der Wand stehen.

Good location, close to tram stops, small but comfortable rooms. Something else to maintain it, but in general everything was fine! The hotel are located in front the Vondelpark.

Ganska slitet hotell. Personalen var trevlig. Restaurangen var stängd för ombyggnad.

Easy 5 min walk to the city center. Tram stop 2 min walk.

Typisch stad hotel... maar de kamer was zo extreem klein... zelden gezien, net een bezemkast.. Vond het ook wat verouderd op de kamer.

Værelset var en skuffelse da det var meget mørkt og lå i en kælder - der var et vindue men i en slags skakt så der var ikke meget lys. til prisen synes jeg det burde have været bedre.

We absolutely loved S&A Vondelpark, our room was on the 3rd floor and the building is so full of character while still having every amenity needed. The common areas and fireplace downstairs are very nice, the staff are friendly and the location is outstanding - vondelpark, cafes, restaurants, shopping are all so.convenient. Will definitely go back.

1st night there were power tools being used at 7am. 2nd day the water was turned off intermittently throughout the day with no warning. Shower was moldy. Hotel location was convenient.

Cancelled my room for one night had to then book a more expensive room in a different hotel
