Children under 3 years are free of charge but will not be entitled to a seat.

Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The boarding point for the Alcatraz ferry is at Pier 33. You must redeem your tickets at Stop 1 (Big Bus Tours Visitors' Center) one day before or by 9:30 AM on the day of your Alcatraz visit.

The Chinatown walking tour starts at 1:00 PM from Stop 2 (North Beach / Chinatown).

The Day Tour (Red Route) takes about 2 1/2 hours for a full circuit if you do not hop off the bus.
