Thinking of buying a flight ticket but worried you might need to cancel? Not a problem. Whatever your cancellation reason may be, now you can get 50% of your flight ticket fare back!

Terms & Conditions

  • Refund Guarantee is an insurance product underwritten by PT Asuransi Digital Bersama (licensed and supervised by Otoritas Jasa Keuangan), and powered by Qoala Insurtech and PT Mitra Jasa Pratama as an insurance broker (together referred to as “Qoala”).
  • Refund Guarantee is valid for flight tickets only (One-Way or Round Trips with Domestic or International routes). Add-ons (e.g., baggage, in-flight meals, baggage wrap, travel insurance, etc.) are not included.
  • Refund Guarantee will cover any cancellation reason, within the specified refund period as mentioned below.
  • Refund requests should be submitted through Traveloka Refund feature via Traveloka App.
  • Refund Guarantee only applies to refund requests submitted at the latest 6 hours before your scheduled departure.
  • Refund requests submitted less than 6 hours before your scheduled departure will not be qualified for Refund Guarantee and will fall under the airline’s standard refund policy.
  • Refund Guarantee will only be applicable to your original flight. If you reschedule your original flight, the Refund Guarantee will not be transferred to your new flight.
  • Partial refunds (e.g. for one leg of a round-trip flight) may be accepted, subject to airline approval and provided that none of the tickets have been used.
  • Refund Guarantee will not be applicable if:
    • The passenger has already checked in;
    • The passenger has already rescheduled their flight;
    • The passenger has requested a refund directly from the airline; or
    • Changes have been made by the passenger directly with the airline. Changes include but are not limited to passenger details (e.g. name, title) and flight routes.
  • If you redeem your points or coupons to purchase the flight ticket (whether partial or fully). Any Points or coupons redeemed for the purchase of the flight ticket will not be refunded.
  • If you purchase the flight ticket using TPayLater, the TPayLater installment fees are non-refundable and the following terms will be applicable to you:
    • If installment(s) have been paid, the refund amount will be reduced by the installment fee(s).
    • If installment(s) have not been paid, payment of the fee(s) must still be completed.
    • The refund amount will be returned to the account holder’s TPayLater limit. Any installments already paid to TPayLater will be refunded via bank transfer.
  • The insurance coverage and benefits provided to you shall always be subject to the policy issued by PT Asuransi Digital Bersama. Traveloka and Qoala shall not be held responsible for the benefit amount paid by PT Asuransi Digital Bersama.
  • If your refund request is accepted by PT Asuransi Digital Bersama, the benefit amount will be transferred to your designated bank account specified in Traveloka platform. You shall be solely responsible to ensure that the designated bank account details that you submitted are accurate and valid.
  • Insurance premium is non-refundable.
  • Valid only for transactions made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
  • Traveloka reserves the right to deny any refund request deemed to be misused or abused.
  • Traveloka reserves the right to deny the purchases of Refund Guarantee to individuals who have misused or abused it.
  • Misuse or abuse of the Refund Guarantee is defined as any fraudulent attempt or any attempt to gain commercial benefit from the Refund Guarantee product.

How can I add Refund Guarantee to my flight booking?

Log In

Search and select your flight

Go to the Flight menu on Traveloka. Fill in your flight details, then search and select the flight that best suits your needs.

Go to My Booking

Add Refund Guarantee

Find Refund Guarantee in the add on card options. Tick the box and you will see it added to your booking

Go to My Booking

Get your guaranteed e-ticket

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive your guaranteed e-ticket. If you need to cancel your flight, here’s how you can claim your Refund Guarantee.
