Hilton Addis Ababa

空港に近いのはとても良いが、乗客が多くなるまで出発しないのはもったいない。ピストンを頻繁にしてもよいくらいの距離（10分以内）なのに。 設備はさすがに老朽化を感じます。

Pool (with hot water) is nice. Gym facility is good as well. On the other hand, tooth brush is NOT provided in your room.

高級ホテルに追加料金なしで泊まれるということで、つい選んでしまいましたが大失敗でした。 ボレ空港に迎えにきてもらいましたが、当然無料と思っていたらチェックアウトの時に600ブル（約3000円）請求されビックリ。タクシーも空港にいて300ブルで行くと言っていた（これもふっかけた値段ですが）のでタクシーのがマシでした。送迎について電話で問い合わせた時も、空港にデスクがあるからそこで聞けとしか言わず有料とは思いませんでした。 部屋は清潔ではありましたが、バスタブの栓の開閉をするハンドルが途中で効かなくなり、お湯を抜けなくなりました。エレベーターも不思議なことに、下に降りたくても一度上向きのボタンを押して上がってから下りることしかできませんでした。 最悪だったのは朝食。朝6:30に頼んでもいないのに電話が鳴りました。ホテルの従業員と思われる男性で、降りてきて朝食を食べろ、空港への送迎はどうする？と言われたようでした。送迎は断りましたが朝食はついていたのか？と思い、それは料金に含まれているのか？と尋ねるとイエスと答えたので、せっかくだからと食べました。 チェックアウトの時に送迎に加え朝食代も請求され仰天しました。朝食か1人600ブル（約3000円）⁉︎ 当方は英語が達者ではないのは確かですが、料金に含まれていると言ったのに！だから食べたのだ、有料なら食べなかった！と繰り返しましたが、朝食は無料ではない、払ってもらわないと、と繰り返すだけ。押し問答していたら頼んでいた現地ガイドが現れ、ホテルとしばし話して、誤解から生じたことなので、朝食は二人前食べたが半分の一人前だけ払うということでどうか、とのこと。 まだ納得いきませんでしが、これ以上時間を取られるのがもったいなくて泣く泣く払いました。 一流ホテルのイメージをことごとく覆され、もう二度と泊まりたくありません。

I booked 3 days before staying. and i couldn't know the black out will be tommorow morning to evening. Please inform the black opur will be done for my staying (i ordered late check out since my flight is mid night.. Black out time has been delayed to 2 hours more since I chelcked out earler than requested time.

空港の送り迎えから、滞在中のインターネット、ランドリー、ルームサービス、豊富なお店、にいたるまでお金さえ払えば何でもそろいます。安心して生活ができると考えて良いかと思います。敷地も広いので安全に散歩も可能です。問題点を上げるとすれば建てられてからかなり時間がたつので設備の老朽化でしょうか、もちろんメンテナンスはされていますが、年気が入っています。それも味だと思えれば最高級のホテルです。

部屋はあまり特徴はないが、レストラン、バー、店などは充実している。両替所は空港と同じレートで両替できる。野外プールは温水で朝早くから人が多い。

Wonderful breakfast buffet

While the Hilton staff provide unparalleled hospitality, my rooms were underwhelming. In the first room, the AC didn't work, with temperatures reaching 25.5 C / 78 F at night. Once changed, not only did the AC not work in the second room, but a large skylight allowed nighttime ambient light in + a fully bright room at 530 AM. I was offered to move rooms again, which I declined, given packing and unpacking two nights in a row for a three night stay seemed exhausting.

SPA WAS DIVINE. LOVED IT.

It seems that the room hasn’t been remodeled since built in the 1970s. The reason why shower, sink and toilet were not working properly. Requested toiletries were not delivered, even when requested for the second time.

Didn’t have a pleasant experience here. Everything is outdated. Food wasn’t good. Plus the shower handles and curtains holders are rusted and extremely old. Seen some mold in the shower as well. It doesn’t look like the place is very well kept.

The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice.

Beautiful property and area

I have been traveling to Ethiopia the last 15 years and every time I stayed at the Hilton The most secured , friendly staff and excellent staff I will strongly recommend them with no hesitation.

The best service people there were excellent, very attentive very polite. Food was great. The showers were superb. The beds were very comfortable all the way around excellent

It's a great hotel, underrated, very classy.

Super Gartenanlage & Pool. Service sehr nett.

Nice old hotel... However for the price specially in Addis you expect the hot water should run without interruptions.
