ラディソン ブル ホテル & レジデンス マプト

レジデンス側に宿泊しましたが、こちらの方が設備が新しく快適でした。 しかし、チェックアウトが本館なので、雨とか降ったらどうするんだろう？？？って感じです。

到着時にウェルカムドリンクがあった。お部屋のドリンクやクッキーもおいしかった。ベッドからバスルームが見えるのは、好きな人は好きなのかもしれない。 デスク以外にテーブルがあり、ちょっとの仕事をするにはいいスペースだった。

モザンビークは安全とは言えない街とのこと。ラディソンを選んで正解でした。新しいモダン風の造りでした。海沿いで景観は良かったです。ホテルでタクシーをアレンジしてくれて2時間観光できました。約5000円。レストランは海鮮がおすすめ。家内はラムを頼みましたがあまりのジャンボサイズにびっくり。必ず海鮮を頼みましょう。

Wifi connection insufficient for a business hotel, barely enough for online meetings or cloud work. After 3 interventions the IT guy was able to up the data down/upstream from 1MB/sec to 10MB/sec... Apparently this is standard and as much as their system allows. (Resort to your own SIM to ensure connectivity!). Also, the safe in my room wasn't working. Called reception several times to fix it. Noone ever showed up. Not sure if they always understood - I am aware there may be a language barrier. Generally staff really was friendly and approachable, but often clueless, e.g. trying to help with uninformed statements that connecting the laptop to the TV would lead to better wifi (nonsense). Friday/Saturday the local beach club played loud music till 4am which was rather unpleasant. Not sure what the arrangement is supposed to be there. Gym was pretty decent, breakfast good. All in all, not worth the rate, sorry.

Room was very good!!! Staff was world class however the extremely LOUD thumping music from across the street until 5:00 AM made it impossible to sleep.. and yes 8 stories up with all the windows and doors closed.. at 300.00 per night this should have been mentioned before the experience so my wife and I could decide if it was something we could handle! If you are a light sleeper… pick another hotel..

It was a clean room, but the sink and the shower were clogged. I called for maintenance and very soon they came and fixed it. The breakfast was good with lots of choices for every taste. Try their fresh coconut drink. Yummy! They also have a nice gluten free bread. However, they have no idea what that is. They mix it next to other bread and they use the same knife. Very dangerous. Imagine. The parking needs redesign. The price is ridiculous. Otherwise, it's a nice place.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but it did not live up to the expectations set by its 5-star rating, especially considering the price. For instance, the directions from reception to the restaurant, that was located in a separate building, was vague. Additionally, the reception mistakenly booked the airport shuttle for the wrong day, but the issue was promptly resolved at the front desk. The breakfast options were also limited for vegetarians, with most choices being meat-based. The overall experience and stay were pleasant but it fell short of what one would expect from a hotel of this category.

Amazing property. Great customer service, walking distance to everything, great modern amenities, amazing pool, great room service, etc. I can go on and on. I felt extremely comfortable and safe at this property. But most of all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel had everything. And they upgraded me for free to the residencial side which is much better and has nice balcony overlooking city. Will definitely stay here again whenever i am in Maputo!
