It would be great to have someone at the door or to set up some reception service. I got confused when I found not one to assit when I arrived. by chance I asked a passeby who voluntered to assist locate the person in charge. There is no set up for a reception and this is a little concerning even when an assistance is needed.

Hébergement très propre, accueil excellent et personnel très agréable et serviable. Si a première vue les alentours peuvent paraître hostiles, il n'en est rien vous pouvez sortir a toute heure sans crainte. A proximité a 10 min à pied le restaurant coppa cabana permet de se baigner de surfer a toute heure a prix raisonnable

What you see online and when you are there is totally different. It’s below standard and it’s nit healthy to stay there.

We needed a place last minute for one night. It wasn’t bad . They need ac throughout the studio though & not just the room. Especially for the price charged.

Service was awesome. I like the guy managing the property and he was always there to assist us without any delay. He also showed us some good places to eat and makes sure we are in safe hands. Thank you you Enams.

The staff was ready to help, and very nice. Tumbs up to Mr Sagna, the evening security Guy. Property is clean. Wifi worked well. The access to the residence is not easy. That is my only real dislike. Other than that, i liked being there.

J'ai aimé l'accueil du gardien Salif, la gentillesse des femmes d'entretien, , par contre je n'ai jamais vu de vue sur la mer comme prévu sur les offres, le réfrigérateur était défectueux, et sur 2 fours ; aucun ne fonctionnait ; réponse du gérant Mame; oh ce n'est que pour un mois! ...., mais à 800

I'd travel to Senegal to do volunteer work as a nurse-midwife in the Casamance area. I wanted to take a few days to visit the new museum in Dakar. I looked for a place to stay and an hour later I was asked to deploy the next day due to unanticipated circumstances. I tried to change my reservations and was told that I couldn't. I drove there to clarify why I was being denied. The manager was helpful but hotels.com and the owner of this residence were not. I was not refunded my monies and was treated rather meanly and unprofessionally. In addition what you see is not what you'll get. The images are embellished not reflecting accessibility, amenities, etc. Terrible, terrible, terrible choice. Don't think I'll use hotels.com again.

Was not worth the savings. Felt cramped. AC barely held up. Wifi was great and consistent. Better options elsewhere imo.

Our stay was in a big, very comfortable apartment. We were in the sea view one. It has a huge patio. Wonderful view. The main road, stores and the beach are close by. A few minutes walk. There are smaller convinence stores and hair dresser just beside the property.

Super séjour

Safe and Quiet area. Good service, ok for a couple of days.

I stayed at the Residence Les Calanques for my trip to Dakar. It was a very lovely hotel. It had a home-like feeling to it, because the room was more like an apartment. I had a big kitchen, nice sized bathroom, big bed area, and a closed in balcony which served as a living area where I entertained my friends. The cleaning personnel came everyday (except Sunday I think, but that was fine with me). The hotel is minutes from the old airport and about 45 minutes to an hour from the new airport, depending on traffic. When I arrived in Dakar it took 30 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel. Leaving Dakar in the late afternoon, there was a lot of traffic and it took very close to an hour to get to the airport. There is a bank, Diamond Bank, not far from the hotel, as well as some nice restaurants. There are also little mini-mart stores within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. A bigger grocery store, AuChan is a 10 minute walk and you can get food and snacks to bring back to the hotel. You need a key to get in the front door downstairs so that really made me feel safe. Walking from the hotel to the main street to go shopping or catch a cab was pleasant, I didn't feel unsafe. A few nights I was out around 9 or 10 getting food and walked back and still did not feel unsafe. Also, the wifi is definitely satisfactory. Also the manager is wonderful and will work with you if you run into unusual issues like arriving very late like I did. I highly recommend this hotel!! Will stay again!

Manager did not honour the advertised 12 noon check in time b/c previous guest went out without packing/ storing his luggage away. I had to stay in the manager's personal unit until his staff let me in my room at 6 pm. The manager yelled at me for not staying in his unit until that guest left, and rudely told me at 7:30 pm to pack up my things bc the guest was returning to collect his belongings after 8 pm. He obviously cared about not upsetting this important repeat guest who much overstayed the 12 moon check out time. It was the most horrific experience as I felt threatened personally. This property should be delisted! Unit itself is nice but loads of construction on the nearby street.
