The staff was absolutely amazing! So friendly, helpful and welcoming. The bungalow felt very private and safe. Only dowfall on the bungalow was the Mango trees dropping mangos on the tin roof in the middle of the night! Food was decent. Nothing that blew your socks off but good and a variety for everyones taste. They made sure to always keep you fed and hydrated. We went for our honeymoon and it was very relaxing and exactly what we were looking for. The hotel is not near much more than a couple beaches so you will have to take a taxi everywhere but the staff is very helpful with that. Book your excursions as soon as you get there or you will miss out. Cant wait to visit again!

This was our second time at Cocobay. Gorgeous views, 2 options for pools, amazing food + options to upgrade, walkable beach with such calm beautiful water. This was our babymoon this trip so we largely stayed at the resort and still felt like the time went by so fast (we were there for a week). After talking with a consultant at the hotel and asking them what they felt was a pregnancy safe excursion (2nd Trimester), they helped us choose an option that we had the best time at. Highly recommend. Just a gorgeous location, amazing and helpful staff, they keep the grounds manicured so well + spray for bugs/mosquitos etc. We always felt safe + it was just the perfect vacation!

It’s a great place to relax

Such an amazing place. We had the most amazing time and had 0 complaints. The resort is beautiful, clean, and safe. The staff was extremely friendly and fun to be around. The food was delicious each night. The views are breathtaking anywhere you go on the island. Overall an amazing trip and amazing resort.

I love that this property has no tv in the rooms I had time to actually relax and enjoy nature and read a book. Will definitely be going back soon.

I will start off positive the view was great. The beach on the resort is public so there are people constantly trying to sell you stuff and you can’t relax. The one and only restaurant has a cat just walking around while you eat and it comes to your table. My wife asked the waitress to move the cat and she replied to my wife “don’t scream”. The bed in the room had bugs in it. The last day there they give me a bill for stuff I didn’t buy at their coffee shop so they had to go through the receipts and come to find out some used our room number to buy stuff there. Worst resort I ever visited

Beautiful well kept property

We had a great time on our honeymoon this past week at Cocobay! Like the rest of the reviews say the staff is fantastic, they really try and make sure you are having a great time and are as relaxed as possible. Recommend getting a massage which was fantastic. The food was excellent, expect fine dining level service and presentation.

This was a great experience but not what I consider great for the price. There were flies landing on us every single day at both main pools alongside the more normal gnats and mosquitoes. Lots of walking. Pools don't really have drink service, not that it's a far walk to the bar. Food was the best part. I would go again if I found a good deal.

Gorgeous view and grounds! The pools were great. Food was good. Some staff were phenomenal!! Very pleasant and helpful. Others made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We ordered bar bites and never got it. We ordered drinks during dinner and never got it. Dinner service was slow. Concierge didn't show up for our scheduled orientation.

Once you arrive to the resort you’re immediately made to feel comfortable and relaxed. You’re reminded that the vacation has started and that it’s time to enjoy yourself. It’s STUNNING. Every view is breathtaking. I highly recommend the Wellness Combo, you will be treated like a king!

Beautiful resort. Very laid back atmosphere. Good food and drinks. Definitely more of a couples resort. Incredible views. If you are looking for a place to party this may not be for you. The staff was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. I would advise getting a room with a plunge pool. Lots of romantic things to do and the staff made everything special. 10/10

Beautiful grounds, friendly staff but not much to do on the resort itself. Only one restaurant and limited food choices throughout the day. Nothing to do at night, saw mutilple couples playong board games at nighttime. Some music playing by locals after dinner...Again beautiful resort, great food but limited choices but not alot to do

The property is breathtaking. However, I cannot emphasize enough bugs spray. This is truly a getaway spot. If you must have Wi-Fi or TV. This is not the spot for you. The rooms do not have TV. A big disappointment was not having the mini fridge fully stocked. The rooms are quite a distance from the restaurants and bars so not having a fully stocked mini fridge with water , snacks ,and alcohol was truly a disappointment. The staff was amazing. Shout out to Mel and Kembrlin. The food was very flavorful and fresh.

The Cocobay Resort and Staff are BEYOND WONDERFUL!!!! My husband and I had an extremely memorable trip!!! From the moment we stepped out of the airport into our private transportation arranged by Cocobay Resort we felt the love of the Island!!! Our room accommodations were BEYOND WONDERFUL. We stayed in a Premium Starfish Waterfront Pool Suite, the Starfish Waterfront Category Room, Green Fig!!! We were in HEAVEN!!! Prior to the trip I had reached out via email to the resort to ask questions, and set up resort extras, which included the Romance Package (I highly recommend it) along with the private transportation to/from the airport/resort, along with a private Island Tour that provided us with a wonderful day of seeing the sites, learning the culture and history, along with having a beautiful lunch. Let me tell you the communication and customer service provided by the resort even prior to the trip was OUTSTANDING!!! While on the property the front desk staff, bell staff, wait staff, and bar staff were OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! They were absolutely THE VERY BEST we have EVER had while traveling!!! The food/drink and service at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to our private romantic dinner, to our floating breakfast were ALL SUPERB!!!! If you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a little romance this is definitely the place for you!!! We can't wait to return!!!
