Reception diligence & friendliness, location quiet w/great view of Lago Argentino & surrounding mountains. Room cozy. Nice breakfast included. Within easy walking distance of El Calafate & all shops/retaurants.

A scandalous experience from start to finish. This hotel is a disgrace to the hospitality industry and fails to meet even the most basic standards. There is absolutely no respect or consideration for guests—service is nonexistent and the attitude is openly dismissive. The breakfast is disastrous, poorly prepared, and completely unworthy of being served. The room was dirty and badly maintained, which is totally unacceptable. This establishment does not even deserve to be called a hotel, let alone be awarded a single star. Avoid at all costs.

Établissement sympa, avec une belle vue. Il faut fixer une heure pour l’arrivée car pas d’accueil permanent. Chambre un peu dans son jus. Véhicule nécessaire pour rejoindre le centre où se trouvent les restaurants.

Mi hermano y yo disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estadía. Hicimos la reserva atraídos por la vista y el precio, ¡y realmente valió la pena! Las habitaciones son amplias, nos tocó vista al lago y todo estaba muy limpio. El desayuno estuvo puntual teníamos excursión a las 7 a.m. y ya a las 6:30 a.m. estaba todo servido, con variedad de frutas, panes, cereales y mermeladas típicas de El Calafate. ¡Muy delicioso! Le daríamos 5 estrellas, pero notamos algunos detalles que podrían mejorar. Al llegar no había nadie en recepción, aunque nos atendieron rápidamente por teléfono y nos dieron el código de la puerta electrónica, la puerta estaba un poco dañada y se trababa, al igual la puerta que da a la vista panorámica. Si salís, hay que llevar la llave para evitar que el viento abra la puerta de golpe. Mi hno y yo no tuvimos problema en figurar y disfrutar el balcon pero notamos otras 2 parejas de invitados que pelearon con las puertas hasta que les asistimos. En general, el hotel está bien cuidado y vale el precio que pagamos. Queremos destacar especialmente a la chica de limpieza, quien nos recibió cuando no habia nadie en recepción y también asistió cocina!! Ella hace un gran trabajo! fue extremadamente cordial y profesional. Sin embargo, se nota que es una sola persona haciendo todo, lo que puede generar confusión y demoras en el check-in, el check-out o si uno tiene alguna consulta. Contar con más personal podría mejorar muchísimo la experiencia y el manejo general del lugar.

Super aconchegante, atendimento incrível, gostamos muito. É um pouco distante do centro uma caminhada de 20 min, mas como gostamos de caminhar isso não foi um problema.

Es una propiedad algo vieja y requiere mantenimiento pero es acogedora y la atención del personal es magnifica. Queda un poco retirado del centro y el transporte es limitado pero sin duda por el precio vale toda la pena

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Although the hotel is “a little rough around the edges”, our room was spacious with a beautiful view. Clean. Breakfast is basic but good. We would stay here again. We felt it was a good value.

The staff at the desk was very friendly and gave me great tips on how to navigate Calafate. The room was decorated with good taste, clean and cozy. The breakfast was not super, but the view from the cafeteria was to die for.

Great experience but a bit far from Centro

The best!! I think the value for money is quite good. The name of the hotel appears as "BAL! Lodge".( I used a flight and accommodation package.) This accommodation is a little far from the cental(15-20 minutes for walking), but the view from the terrace and common area is nice! If you book a tour, they will pick you up at the hotel. Also,there is a paid shuttle bus from the airport.The distance is a little matter when you return after dinner due to darkness. The hotel was clean and I like their interior decoration. Wi-Fi reached the room and the speed was fine. The staff are very kind. Because it is not high season, the staff are not always on site, but we were able to communicate smoothly via Whatapp. You can get a map with recommended restaurants at the hotel reception. The Italian restaurant "Nápoles", which is the closest to the hotel, is highly recommended. It is very delicious. The pizza was so big that even a half-size pizza was too big for one person to eat, so I took it home. The hotel has a microwave and kitchen in the common area. Also, it was very appreciated that there was a kettle in the room, and there was a tea bag for hot drinks (herbal tea and coffee). For breakfast, you can choose as much fruit and bread (jam and cream cheese) as you like, and they will make you scrambled eggs. You can also drink herbal tea, coffee, water, orange juice or cocoa The room also has a bathtub large enough to stretch your legs out. It is wonderful to take a bath.

Great hotel!

Lovely view from the windows, but quite a long walk to the town centre. We were able to cook on site but would not have wanted to stay longer then one night. But very good for the price.
