This venue is primarily a restaurant. Some courtyard tables are directly in front of rooms. Staff were extremely inconsiderate after closure, noisily congregating outside the rooms from 12 midnight.

A place of character, centrally located to the arts precinct. Comfortable bed, clean and reasonably priced.

Nice place room quiet, despite being above a bar.

Shower wasnt hot and water pressure not great otherwise excellent location and amenities

The central location cation near the Bendigo Art gallery and shopping centre and park is great. I love the ambience of the rooms with their heritage feel and fireplace. The adjacent courtyard with cumquat trees is ann andded bonus and the rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s also great to have the adjacent Wine Bank restaurant and bar for a great meal or tapas and a drink. The room rate is extraordinary value for what is provided. I love coming here.

Everything about it was good. Just 1 issue . I did not realise, until I checked in, that my room opened up directly to a public space - an event area . So it was quite noisy until 10 pm as it was very busy.

Allawah is a unique property and very fairly priced. The compact room offered all that I needed and a wonderful sense of historic Bendigo. Wedged between the Art Gallery, a string of arty shops, an exceptional ice creamery, many eateries and Rosalind Park, the location was perfect!

Fantastic place cute little maisonettes and Tracey was super helpful with check in and bag storage whilst we explored Bendigo gallery- definitely recommend

Great stay, had everything required for a one night stay and great location. Loved being able to wander down and get something to eat and drink in a lovely environment. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Bathroom extremely small kept hitting door trying to dry myself. Function was outside room until 9pm. Speakers left on outside room from wine bar unril mudnight. Staff forgot to turn them off until i got up and approached them. Parking was included but when i got there staff said first in best dressed. Not response i was looking for. Finally staff moved their car that was occupying resident parking. Not easy to find. In maisonettes you can hear everything in adjoining rooms. Will be avoiding this place in future. Wine bar was not bad.

Nice rooms and well-priced. The car parking was a little tight but ok. Unfortunately, the rooms are located where tables and the people are. This made getting to sleep tough as its very lowed. Staff were helpful and good to deal with.

Beautiful accommodation! We only stayed one night but it was just lovely. Rooms were well equipped, amazing location and highly recommend the wine bar.

Was great . Rooms bed comfortable . Service was excellent. Only complaint was the shower water temp and pressure was poor only had the hot tap on as the water wasnt that hot but sufficent . Room service was great . Would stay again was great .

The central location near the Bendigo art gallery, the graciously furnished room, the wine bar and restaurant on the property and the comfortable facilities all made this a great option for a short stay. I have booked for another night in the near future. The ambience was so much nicer than other available options for a similar price. I would highly recommend it.

Like everything in the area it was a self check in, the service is a thing of the past. Great property and clean

The property (reception / staff) closed all weekend so we were on our own so to speak. Whilst there were no issues, when I checked in, no advice was given as to what to do with the keys when checking out on the Sunday. No after hours number was provided in case of a situation arising that needed answering. Really very odd. I'd stay there again, but I don't think my wife would be so keen.

Thought the bathroom was a cupboard, hilariously small. However room was large, nice layout and very comfortable bed.

Room was small, nowhere to place luggage other than on the floor. Bathroom was far too tiny to make it comfortable to use. We were woken in the early hours on two occasions on Saturday night by noisy other guests.
