部屋が、思っていたより、狭かったです。

私たちは前後の行程を考え1泊スワンシーに泊まりました。10月末の土曜19時過ぎに到着しましたが、周辺に飲食店やガソリンスタンドはあるものの開店しているお店は飲食店1店のみ。前宿で作っていた食事があったため困りませんでしたが、到着後に外食や買って食べようと考えている場合には時間に気を付けたほうが良いと思います。部屋は最低限ですが不自由なく電子レンジあります。全ての部屋にベランダがありますが、海沿いで夜はかなり寒かったです。施設内にランドリー設備はなく、聞いたところ近くにコインランドリーがありますが17時には閉まります。フロントの方は優しく、私の拙い英語にもゆっくり何度も話して下さり親切でした。

ワイングラスベイに行く目的で泊りました。部屋は狭いですがこじんまりとして個人的には過ごしやすかったです。10月の宿泊で夜が寒かったのですがオイルヒーターしかなくやや寒かったです。シャワールームにはヒーターがついており暖かかったです。目の前にスーパーがあり大変便利でした。

Great location close to everything

stayed here for 1 night. didnt realise the check in was only until 8 or 8 30. The onsite manager was kind to give me a bit more time to arrive. I didnt use any common facilities, not sure if ther are any. No issues with parking, was very quiet, nice view. The room was old-ish but well maintained - no smell, everything was working. good view, ocean breeze. Easy to check in and out.

View was nice. Very noisy, very hard to get water for the kettle as you had to get it from the very small bathroom vanity. Room was clean, complementary tea and coffee was a joke. One coffee sachet, two tea bags for a 3 day stay. No milk sachets. Very creaky floorboards and you can hear through the walls. Some people dont understand what quiet means. I had to knock on a door and beg a women to be quiet as we and every other person on that level was tring to sleep. The staff were ok .

Disappointed with the lack of space & minimal provision of tea/coffee, soap etc. Hostess was friendly & welcoming.

Room was small and a little tired.

The whole room would fit into one bedroom in my home ,the noise from other rooms were too noisy , the floor creaked that much if you used the bathroom every one in the room woke up , pillows were like bags of cement. Magnificent view the only good thing

The room and ensuite were TINY! Couldn’t close the ensuite door without a huge struggle and the microwave only worked when it chose to. Room was clean and linen was fine but I would not recommend for people with claustrophobia or a suitcase (nowhere to store it).

The Amos House Motel was an inexpensive basic accommodation with clean and small rooms, adequate parking, and conveniently located. Daily housekeeping not provided. The internet connection was poor and intermittent. Not a place for spending time in the room.

Worked well for us. Clean and comfortable. Good for a one night stop when going around Tasmania!

Very basic, cafe was closed

The room was in good condition, if dated. Small but had good bathroom facilities. No toaster, but a microwave and kettle. Great heater and view.

I would not give it a rating or stay. As I wanted to book two rooms for 2 people with disabilities and noticed the stairs, I rang the property. I was told they had rooms where there would only be a couple of stairs, so I booked the rooms.on arriving at the property, I saw how many stairs there were into each room, they had also booked us into two rooms in the main house with over twenty stairs. I rang the owners, who had already taken the money out of my credit card and refused to give even a partial refund. The male owner then abused me over the phone, I was so upset that I hung up.

The property had walls so thin i could hear all the guests conversations on the top level. I phoned the hotel before making booking and explained i have a walking disability but was told there will be only 4 stairs into hotel room. That is a lie, there is 6 stairs to reception level and then 20 to the level we needed to be on. The room was dirty. Bed uncomfortable and only 1 pillow that was flat. I had to use my jumper as a pillow cause nothing else.provided.
