Greeted by very friendly receptionist. Room was clean and kitchenette had everything including small dishwasher. Bed was very comfortable. Located on a busy street but did not hear any traffic noise. Restaurant not open on weekend but not far to eateries. Very happy.

Booked a family 2 bedroom apartment at Athena Motel Apartments with a photo of a spa bath, with no shower photo. On arrival there was no spa bath and Athena and Hotels.com wouldn’t refund despite the misleading family room photo. The amenities listing is deceptive. No cd player, no oven suitable for baking a lasagna in an alfoil pan, and no spa bath that was in the room-specific photos with no mention on Hotels.com listing that it was only available on request. Terrible management and policies, refusing to refund despite their misleading advertising. With the restaurant being closed on the weekend it was unclear where or how to access the games-arcade room so we couldn’t use it during our rainy weekend stay. Dismal wifi speeds 10mbps download and upload. Hot water ran out half way through my husband’s shower. Mascara stains on pillow case when I don’t wear mascara and our fitted sheet had a hole in it. Also found a cockroach in kitchen. Dirty grout in shower. The dishwasher powder holder was broken too and wouldn’t stay closed after adding powder. The bottom of the door on the microwave was loosely hanging off, does not seem safe as it probably isn’t sealing the radiation in anymore. Never staying here again, would leave 0-star review if I could. Stay here only if you want a frustrating experience.

A big reason I chose the Athena was because of the gym, pool table and restaurant - so once we arrived with 15yr old son we didn’t have to leave. Only to find out that pool table cant be accessed on Friday afternoon or evening and restaurant isn’t open Friday night and U18s cant use gym even if supervised. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.

The room was spotless and the staff courteous as per usual.

The staff are always lovely, the rooms clean and well appointed and I love that they all have a kitchen. The location is also a plus and close to lots of amenities. I have stayed twice now and will definitely be back.

Great clean apartment, games room and pool. With restaraunt. After a long drive we just relaxed and didn't to leave the motel, which was great.

Room was spotless and perfect for what we needed. Only let down was the restaurant not being open, checked in and was told it would be open, went for a swim with kids and went down to get dinner as we had had a long drive and didn't want to go out. First we knew was a sign on the door saying closed at 630 when we arrived, a notification would have been appricatied but I'm sure this was a one off issue
