Battunga’s charm, so calm and true, With birdsong bright and skies of blue. Kangaroos at dusk, such sights to see, And Kerry’s care—warm hospitality. Provisions plenty, comforts neat, A peaceful bushland, pure retreat. Our hearts are full, our thanks sincere, We’ve loved our stay and wish we were here all year!

Outstanding cottage, very comfortable and very well resourced with produce such as freshly baked bread, jams, cheeses eggs and bacon, yoghurt, juice, chocolate, etc. Friendly owners.

Beautiful area and little touches make this a 5 star property. Potbelly stove and plenty of firewood made for a very cosy cottage on a cold night. 5 min drive to Watervale pub and plenty of wineries.

We had a wonderful stay at Battunga Cottages. Slightly off the main road which is perfect for a peaceful stay enjoying the wildlife. They are fully equipped with god quality items, everything you need. The fire ensures for a cosy warm evening. The welcome treats and breakfast provisions are exceptional. Highly recommend.

We were met by Kerry on arrival with a freshly baked Sour Dough bread when we entered our beautiful cottage we were amazed by the breakfast provisions left for us it included smoked bacon farm fresh eggs local cheeses, Honey , Jams and wine a fresh fruit basket an assortment of teas including herbal varieties a Coffee Pod machine and some lovely home made chocolates next to our bed and as a Bonus due to our Anniversary we received a bottle of Bubbly and a lovely card left for us we loved our stay at Battunga Cottages the rooms were spacious clean nice bed and shower and period decorated with plenty of magazines and books to read and DVDs while we relaxed there Thank you Kerry for going the extra mile for us from John and Marea

It was set among the gum trees overlooking a creek opposite the main homestead. It was quiet but for the birdsong. A beautiful setting for relaxing. There were a number of home touches and a well stocked fridge.

Cute little cottage in a gorgeous location. The food provisions were outstanding!! Wonderful cheese, fruit, breakfast provisions and freshly-baked bread.

This is a stunning property - the owners Kerry and Mark have added unique touches to the cottages , chilled eon and cheeses awaiting for you on arrival along with a freshly baked loaf of bread and a bowl of fruit . The breakfast items consisted three different choices of breakfast cereal , yogurt as well as bacon , eggs, mushrooms . A very relaxing place to stay surrounded by beautiful gardens and gum trees . It is a very short drive to Clare from the cottages and surrounding wineries. We highly recommend this property .
