Sydney Kingsford Smith Aptから思ったおより遠く、タクシーで40OZ$（3391円）近くかかってしまいました（OZ$のレート要確認）。 こちらを選んだ理由は、検索時に“人気”アイコンがついていたのと、価格の安さですが、正直がっかりでした。 中華系の方が運営しており、部屋の照明が異常に薄暗く、シャワーやトイレはフロア共同です。シャワーも粗末な感じで、トイレとの仕切りがなく、結局使用しませんでした。 近場に徒歩圏内に夕飯を食べれる所がたくさんある所のみ良かったですが、その代わり朝3時まで外が騒々しく安眠できずに早朝のフライトへと出発しました。

Good location. All night pizza shop downstairs across. Good bistro n bar downstairs , just have to share bathroom n toilet at end of corridor no lift and check in open for linger arrival times. Good location to.shops and train station.

It's just what you want for an inexpensive hotel: a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water in the showers, friendly staff, and good air conditioning.

It suited my purpose of a short stay and I was pleased that the toilet was a separate room from the shower although just one per gender felt was not enough when sharing. Room was well attended (cleaned and fresh towels after 2 days) I had booked this with its close proximity to the light rail so disappointed to learn it was closed, (had been for some time) this should have been included in the description

furniture looked like randomly grabbed used parts. Topside of the fridge was still partially covered with the manufacturer's protective film, but this was partially marked with cut marks. And this in a whole looked kind of dirty.

Room price good and has most of the things i need.

At time of writing this review the current rating is 3/5. I believe this to be fair concensus. However I had a solid 2/5 stay. For the first two nights we stayed in room 6, a room that smelled strongly of a rotting animal corpse. We're obviously very appreciative that an alternative room was arranged and that staff were very helpful but one of the replacement rooms was not properly cleaned with the previous occupants rubbish left completely filling the cupboard. The other smelled of mold, as the air conditioning system was damaged at had been left to drip onto the carpet. The lack of care in maintaining cleanliness in obvious places has me concerned about the less obvious things.

Shopping and food

I stayed at Hotel Campsie recently and had a very disappointing experience. I travelled from different state to meet a friend and expected a relaxed stay, but the security made it stressful from the start. As soon as I arrived, the security guard stopped me and said I wasn’t allowed inside without even asking why I was there. I explained I had a booking, and only then he let me in, but without any apology. While I was checking in and had already given my ID to the staff, the same guard came again and told me to leave the area and go upstairs, without asking why I was waiting. His attitude was rude and disrespectful, which made me feel very unwelcome. Later, I asked the hotel staff if I could have a few drinks at the bar with my friend and was told it was fine. But when we went to the bar, the security guard blocked us again, refused service, and even threatened to call the police for no clear reason. It felt aggressive and unnecessary. Also, the hallway near the rooms had a strong smell of cigarettes and was quite unpleasant. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was far from acceptable. I hope management seriously looks into the behaviour of their staff and security and improves how they treat paying guests.
