Nice hotel close to the beach. Breakfast included is so good.

数多くあるケアンズの中では少しさびれたビーチなのですが こちらのホテル自体は洒落ていました。フロントの方の応対も丁寧で英語が あまり得意ではない日本人の私達にも感じがよくとても親切にしてくれました。 一泊のみで天気もあまりよくなかったのでまた是非行きたいと思います。ビーチの前で朝食をゆっくり取れたのが思い出です。

Beautiful scenery.

Unfortunately our stay coincided with the closure of the restaurant and bar. We only received notice if this the day prior to our stay. The location of the property is amazing but the building itself is showing signs of age. Definitely time for a renovation. The staff were all amazing. Unfortunately due to the restaurant and bar being closed we cut short our stay.

The hotel is quite outdated and does not look like in the photos.The room was reasonably clean, but the shower was dirty and the shower head was small. cheap and old.Does not stand up to a resort level. The pool was quite dirty with leaves and hair floating on the surface. The sandbags were also stained, old and the pool tables were dirty. The waiter came to our table three times but not even once they cleaned/wiped it down. The restaurant and bar were closed for three consecutive days, text message sent to the me in the morning when I was planning to have breakfast and coffee. $300 per night was not worth it.

They show beautiful pictures of the rooms and pools in the main building, but might put you in an old seperate building which isn't well maintained anymore - incl. pool and parking lot not clean resp. in bad condition. At least the rooms have been clean - so the cleaning staff did a good job.

Beautiful Pools

The location was faultless & stepping from veranda into pool was fantastic. However, it doesn’t look like the floors in the unit ever see a mop & generally was very run down. The food was terrific in the restaurant but the service left a lot to be desired. The staff seemed to put more emphasis on putting menu & cutlery out than serving the waiting guests. 3 times in a matter of hours 2 seperate bar staff looked right at me waiting, not only did they continue but then walked right past me multiple times without acknowledgement. All you have to do is let people know you see them & will be with them asap

Luxury beachfront hotel where you can walk for miles along the magnificent Mission Beach shoreline. Ideally located near the stinger net for swimming at the beach during the stinger season and within walkable distance to nearby alternative dining options. Gorgeous, refurbished pool to cool off in and plenty of comfy seating areas to gaze out to the views of Dunk Island. Most importantly the staff are attentive and super friendly!

Upon check in staff were rude. Rooms were dirty due to age and are very outdated, grout in bathroom and bathroom tiles are disgusting. Pool was dirty and full of leaves and bottom of pool was slimy. I asked if they could clean pool but never got done.

An elegant hotel in a really beautiful location. Everything was spotless and comfortable and the beanbags in the pool were an excellent addition to a very comfortable stay.

Unfortunately the room I booked was not as expected view was interrupted by roof top. Room was noisy could hear sliding doors and toilet flushing For a resort I expected table service but had to order food and drinks from the bar Waiting time for drinks was too long Understaffed the staff that worked did an amazing job so dam busy not a good look been that busy Bed in room was too bloody small expected bigger Had to climb in a bath to use the shower Shower gel was empty had to call reception Complementary washing powder container empty Will most likely not stay there again Very disappointed traveler

The accommodation was great, far better than expected (and we did our homework looking at reviews prior). The restaurant and bar were expensive and it would have been great to see a local ale or 2 on tap. That said, the resort is a short walk from town. And that walk is part of the experience of mission beach.

The location and view from my room was stunning. A sweet sleepy town with magnificent beach. The room was very dark and poorly lit. There were 2 pools and one could be just for children and one for adults trying to enjoy a peaceful holiday. I didn’t account for the noisy kids factor at this time of year, my bad. In room dining would have helped also.

Poor experience. Unfortunately while waiting for our room to be available decided to grab a bite and couple Drinks. Stood at front of line for 25 minutes to be told to order at the table due to staff shortages. Young lady behind the bar was overwhelmed and doing her best whilst the manager was sitting at front desk. Waited a further 20 minutes at the table, still no drink or food. 45 minutes in total, went back to the bar and asked the young lady who made the drinks for our beer and wine not cocktails. She apologised and I felt awful for her. Made a complaint to the manager- male wasn’t interested and gave poor excuses and was bad luck pretty much. Room was average, pool was in a poor state missing tiles needs repair. Low on toiletries in the room all empty for the price we expected more. Trip was ruined before it started, definitely won’t go back.

We arrived late on evening after our road trip. The hotel was wonderful and the staff was great. Dinner was also wonderful. The only issue we had is the shower water drained all over the bathroom floor. Thus we had to use the clean white towels to soak up the water. Bad shower design. Other than that everything was wonderful.
