Cosmopolitan Hotel and Apartments

値段を考えると新しく、きれいで良いホテルだった。 シングル２、キング１の部屋に泊まったが1室だけだがかなり広い部屋で良かった。浴槽はなくシャワーのみ。ただ、この旅行でメルボルン以外にエアーズロック、ケアンズと泊まったが浴槽があるホテルはなかったのでここは文化の違いとして諦めるしかなさそう。 部屋の設備はエアコン、テレビ、冷蔵庫、電気ケトル、ドライヤーくらい。ホテルの設備は、無料できるパソコンが1階にあった。WiFiもある。ランドリーは利用しなかったのであったかどうかわからない。レストランはない。 中心地の駅サザンクロスまでトラムで20分弱移動しなければいけない郊外と行った立地だが周囲は静かでビーチが近くリゾート感あって良かった。近くにスーパーもある小さな商店街があり、カフェが多く食事ができるところも結構ある。カフェ好きにはお勧め。メルボルン空港まではタクシー以外にリムジンバスで1時間ほどだったと思うが、事前にネットでチケットを購入しないと乗れないので注意。フロントで時刻表は貰える。

綺麗に掃除されているが、最高級の設備というわけではない。外で遊んだ後、休憩したり、寝るだけなら十分。

アパートメントでしたが、ホテルと変わらずのサービスでした。 トラムが朝早くから夜中まで走ってますので便利ですが、音は避けられないですね。

客室は清潔で使い勝手がよい。ただ、すぐ前をトラムが通っているため、夜間に音が気になる。

Perfect for weekend away. Close to central Melbourne

Great location for ease of restaurants and shops. Parking was easy. Only down side was that half the lamps in our room were unable to reach the power points so made it hard!

We stayed at the **Cosmopolitan Hotel from July 22 to 26, 2025**, and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We were given room **C030**, which was right next to the tram line where it curves—resulting in loud noise every time the tram passed. Despite requesting an upper-level room and being told it would be away from the tram, this wasn't the case. The room had **only one heater** located in the living room, leaving the bedroom cold. When we asked to change rooms, we were denied unless we **paid for an upgrade**. Instead, housekeeping delivered a plug-in heater—but entered our room without knocking. We also discovered that the door had no latch or chain lock meaning anyone with a key could enter. We resorted to blocking the door with a sofa, and the front desk confirmed this was the case for all rooms did not object to the sofa blocking the door. Additional issues included: -bathroom window that wouldn’t fully close-we had to seal it with towels. -cracked toilet seat, which pinched when used. -Visible mold in the shower and sink areas, and we had to adjust shut-off valves to get hot water. -Uncleaned counters with crumbs left behind, and a chipped glass was simply put back in place. - We even found a long-lost TV remote behind the sofa. Overall, the room was poorly maintained and didn’t feel secure. Disappointed with both the condition and services.

She stayed at the Cosmopolitan as it was near the Palais Theatre. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The room was quiet even though it faved the main road. Extremely convenient to great bars and restaurants. Would stay again.

The location is 10/10. The property itself is tired and old but functional.

Very basic room. Great location, but nothing more. This is not a boutique hotel. The room felt empty and cold.

If the bed wasn’t so horribly uncomfortable…(lumpy & springs digging in) i would book here again. Surprisingly quiet, clean & convenient. Old have done with a bit of assistance with my luggage but other than that the service was good.

Always love staying at the Cosmo - Joshua on the front desk is a real star too - all staff were wonderful - steps from The Galleon and great Mexican food too!

Noisy fridge, air conditioner and leaking toilet cistern. Otherwise, good value and friendly staff.
