Friendly staff; great views of valley.

Nice enough hotel but my bathroom and toilet was actually outside!!

Building is incomplete and dilapidated, Facilities were reasonable

Ideal for one or two night stays, small room but looks modern, dining at the hotel, no alternatives close, but worth it, great friendly ambiance (buen ambiente) , reasonable dinner prices.

Nicely renovated rooms, but very small. Overpriced breakfast for the quality offered.

Easy and in the right place for an overnight stay. Great pub steak sandwich and chips!!

The Halfway House Hampton is a great getaway and has a great country atmosphere. Great staff, great food and great beer. Really enjoyed the stay!

The rooms are newly renovated & excellent value for money! Initially I was in a room next to the construction site which has a big trash pile in front of it, I asked to be moved, which was no problem. The second room had wonderful views, nice and warm and very clean. Highly recommend.

Air con not working had to switch rooms . Smaller than booked. Young staff helpful.

The highlight of this motel was definitely the stunning views—absolutely beautiful! The bar and restaurant areas were lovely, with a nice atmosphere with a mix of locals and guests and tasty food. Our room was decent, and the bed was super comfy, complete with a cozy electric under blanket and a pair of slippers, which was a nice touch. There were a few downsides: the road nearby was quite noisy at times, though it did quiet down overnight, so it was manageable. Unfortunately, there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, and I ended up getting bitten a lot during the night. Also, the doors were very squeaky—something that seems like it could be easily fixed! The cleanliness of the room could use some improvement, especially behind the furniture where it looked like vacuuming hadn’t been done in a while and the bathroom floor wasn’t very clean with hairs. Overall, while there’s room for improvement—particularly with cleaning—I still had a good stay and would be happy to return.

The property is a great place to rest and relax on a road trip around the blue mountains. Very friendly staff too.

Despite our arrive just before 4.00pm our room was not ready. It had mostly been serviced but the bathroom had not been completely cleaned. It was nearly a half hour later before we were able to get into our room. The people were kind but it was not what we expected for the price we were paying. The restaurant provided good quality pub/club food which we enjoyed. Despite being on the highway, it was quiet. Eventhough it is obvious that renovations had been done, a few exterior tiles had fallen off the walls and a couple of exterior electrical conduits were exposed. The view from the balcony was wonderful both at sunrise and toward sunset. The room was quite small but nicely appointed and the bed was comfortable.

Floor was dirty Toilet was not flushed. Verandah could not be used due to goats harassing us.

Liked the property location with its nice outlook. Didn’t like how bad the mattress was across all 4 rooms we had booked and mosquitoes .
