I liked the atmosphere and the decor - I liked the indoor brickwork and use of timber. I t was a very handy stop for my daughter and I as I was not very familiar with the area or where to stay this place looked attractive to stay at and had a restaurant with an appealing menu.

Room was not cleaned, there was spider cobwebs under TV unit, bathroom. Floor was dirty with dirt and gum was stuck on the floor under the bed. Lizard was there in the bathroom. Other than that there was no issue.

Room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. Air con was great as it was a cold night. Parking was in front of our room and no traffic noise. Just had toast and coffee for breakie in the sunroom. Pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. All facilities are clean, cosy and comfy. The staff super nice. But the bonus was looking out from the balcony at the amazing view and the few farm animals they keep - lamas, sheep, goats - watching these creature roam around, enjoying the view... it was so lovely...

Other guests left at 1am and again at 4am. Their work utes leaving was very noisy. Was given the wrong room key and walked into an already occupied room,

3 bed deluxe room booked for two nights, arrived after 4PM room was not cleaned or made up, told them and given a 1 double bed room which was very small and unclean, shower leaked as door not fitted correctly mouldy seals on fridge mouldy wall near exhaust fan, in general needed a good clean and some repairs, access from the motel to the hotel was by either by a pretty steep stair case or a pretty steep incline which would be unsuitable for frail or disabled people. Staff was nice and friendly definitely would not stay there again. Views were very nice which would have been an excellent bonus if the room was what was advertised and what we paid for. Overall very disappointing.

Parking available, accommodation room extension was clean, cheaply built & reasonably new. No internet. Whole property only partly renovated, a lot unfinished & messy. Rubbish on site, building renovations clearly halted. Photos on website misleading. Most of the premises not open. Only 3 burgers available for dinner. Locals loud & intoxicated in bar/ dining room. Breakfast not available, no staff on site overnight, premises dark and locked. We were the only people on site.

Overall our stay was great,some work to tidy up,but our room was good,staff wonderful and accommodating, food good,breakfast great,would stay again.

Nice enough hotel but my bathroom and toilet was actually outside!!

Ideal for one or two night stays, small room but looks modern, dining at the hotel, no alternatives close, but worth it, great friendly ambiance (buen ambiente) , reasonable dinner prices.

Nicely renovated rooms, but very small. Overpriced breakfast for the quality offered.

Easy and in the right place for an overnight stay. Great pub steak sandwich and chips!!

The Halfway House Hampton is a great getaway and has a great country atmosphere. Great staff, great food and great beer. Really enjoyed the stay!
