Super friendly host and staff! Will definitely come back again in the future

The rooms were not cleaned, beds unmade, no sheet on another bed. when changed to another room the tv was broken. Food was only just eatable.

I think we can agree with 'Rustic with friendly staff' to describe Hill End Lodge. The negatives can remain as 'Why would you expect anything more?.. it's a Bush Lodge'

nice quiet, perfect for family stay. only 3min drive to hill end city. even kangaroos visiting your room in he morning. the owner is super friendly and chill. the only downside is the bathroom will become a little pobd after shower.

Basically clean, but tired and very basic ammenities. Bathroom/ shower, could do with a freshen up. Restaurant service had a few issues, but meals were fine.

Very friendly & welcoming. Food was good. Cabin had everything we needed.

The room was very run down and basic. The fridge froze my food even though it was on the lowest settling, bathroom had mould & peeling surfaces in the shower, blinds were broken, no chair in room, very dated furnishings. A reasonable size room with a tv but felt like most things needed throwing out and just starting again. One very old outdoor table & 1 chair on verandah that my neighbour left some rubbish on. Garbage bin on the verandah stunk and was full on my arrival. Beer can & cigarette butts littered the garden / outdoor space. On the plus side 2 of the lady staff members were very friendly and helpful. A huge asset to the place. Barking dog very early in the morning… the owners I was told. Save your money for somewhere else.

this accommodation is ok for a single male who doesn't care much eg miners. the mould in the bathroom and on the shower curtain, hole in the vinyl floor covering is unacceptable.

Great location close to historic Hill end . Very friendly hosts and home cooked meals supplied at restaurant

Lovely place to stay- peaceful and safe. Easy parking, wifi in an otherwise township 'dead zone'. Close to everything with lovely friendly host and staff. Dinners available and a neat BBQ area. Just a note: Go prepared with your own water and bbq supplies as the closest towns are both over an hour away and the small village shop isnt really that well stocked.

A super quiet and relaxed place for a getaway. Onsite restaurant makes things convenient. A huge range of native flora attracts many birds and kangaroos are often seen hopping between the rooms!

Great property clean rooms safe parking only drama was the Manager rang me around 11.30 the day of check in and informed me there was no water so no shower and no food no toilet

Great little place.

This is a low cost place to stay, that has that great old country feel. Not luxury. But John and the team provided great service.

Nice and quiet, friendly helpful staff. Good location when visiting Hill End. Basic budget accommodation. Dining room cleanliness needs attention. Friendly kangaroo on site.
