Three floors walk up, building hidden behind McDonalds, poorly signed for motorists, large parking area behind & front. Excellent 3-language (English, Portuguese, Italian) receptionist, well prepared small basic room, bathroom small, allowed hand washing while sitting on loo, wash half body under shower at a time. Stayed 2 different days, due to late planning. Any port in a storm.

Reception by multilingual (English, Portugese, French) person was excellent. Got Ground floor well presented room. TV & changer worked. Stayed 05-06 DEC also 03-04 DEC, same comments. 3 floors no lift. Room very tight, go outside to change mind, beds vey hard, bedding clean, facilities very limited. Fridge worked. Bathroom allowed sit on loo & wash hands simultaneously. Shower one side at time. Tea & coffee present, no small biscuit pack. Expensive for what it was. A last resort choice now & in future.

Pest control issues found two cockroaches at two different occasions. bathroom sewage smell on my arrival opened door it stunk. Left the bathroom door open so when I returned to the apartment the smell was gross nearly unbearable. Once I close the bathroom door though that remove the smell from the apartment but it was still left in the bathroom stinking.

Great budget stay

Clean room that was comfortable. As others have said, there is no separate shower cubicle, it’s more of a wet room, so water gets everywhere when you have a shower.

Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom after a shower was wet everywhere, we had to request a mop and bucket, staff were great. The $16.00 breakfast was adequate.

Cheap & cheerful, nice clean bed… that’s all you want for the money!

Hall ways were very dirty needed a vaccum badly

Small room but comfortable room. Great staff, friendly and helpful. I requested a room on top floor at the end with nice outlook from window and the lovely staff at the hotel gave me exactly that. 🤗👍 Nice view of trees and creek from window. I went for a short walk through the little trail behind hotel which was nice. The bed was very comfortable and desk area was very handy. Unfortunately the wifi was not working in my room during the 2 night stay, however this was not a big disruption to my stay. Being on the top floor it would have been better if the hotel had an elevator which is does not. I would of liked a do not disturb sign for my door. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay at Ibis Budget Gosford again in the future 👍

Overall experience with staff was good. Only problem was room ac wasn’t working. It was playing around and we could hear noise/ sound from other room. But overall was good with friendly staff.

Friendly welcome at reception. Rooms are clean but small and basic. Does everything you need for a quick stop over.

Room was neat and tidy. Desk staff were pleasant. Convenient location. The only down side was the kids bunks didn't have top sheets on the beds, only blankets which were pretty warm and it was already a warm night.

The Hotel is exactly that Budget and is clean and is close to Dining and other facilities. I find the space to work at in the room very tiny and claustrophobic to be in. Budget inexpensive room for one night stay it was good.

Ok place - well located, reasonable condition but rooms are tiny - like less than a foot clearance around the beds type tiny. Ibis business model is small/fuctional, but these rooms are small even by Ibis standards. Bathroom also smelled a bit off.

Budget hotel so you cant expect much, but the room smelt like dogs and the hallways like vomit. Bathroom was gross. However, the staff were lovely!
