I stayed here for 1 night with my family on the way back to the Gold Coast. It was chosen as I lived in this building nearly 20 years ago and I wanted to show my children where I lived before they were born. They were extremely excited - until we got into the apartment. I have stayed in many different types of accommodation over the years and none have even come close to how horrible this property was. Before we arrived, we got an email with all of the rules - for the most part they were reasonable, but to tell your guests that the accommodation they just paid nearly $400 for was "only for enjoying the view and to sleep" is going a bit far. Now to the condition of the unit. This was quite possibly the most vile, filthy place I have ever stayed in. A thick layer of dust over everything, hastily patched up walls, badly stained carpet, cracked light switches and I don't even know where to start with the bathroom - we felt more clean before we showered. The real kicker though, was the blood on the living/dining area wall. I have photos of everything. The only good thing is the view (hence 2 stars), yet I think that the owners are just relying on that to get them paying guests and hoping that they won't notice the state of the rest of it. To say we are disappointed with our stay is an understatement - we're actually disgusted and I wish I had never booked, instead showing my kids the building from the outside and leaving the rest as a fond memory.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING THE ONLY NICE THING WAS THE VIEWS & LOCATION PICTURES ARE NOT RECENT LINEN WAS DIRTY & THREAD BARE INCLUDING THE TOWELS NOT ENOUGH LINEN FOR AMOUNT OF GUESTS BEDS A OLD & DAMAGED COULD FEEL SPRINGS POKING THROUGH…MY 3 TEENS HAD TO SLEEP ON THE OULL OUT SOFA BED APARTMENT WAS DIRTY & DAMAGE EVERYWHERE…MOULD IN THE BATHROOM & BEDROOM NO AC EXTREMELY HOT OLD FANS PROVIDED WERE FILTHY DIRTY & DAMAGED WATER LEAKING IN THE KITCHEN CUPBOARDS SO BAD IT WAS RUNNING ONTO THE FLOOR EVERY SURFACE WAS DIRTY/DUSTY BROKEN TILES IN THE BATHROOM STAINED CARPET…IT LOOKED LIKE BLOOD OR FEACES REPLIED TO THE CHECK IN TEXT YO ADVISE OF THE ISSUES DID NOT GET A REPLY DEMANDING A FULL REFUND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
