Drove from Sydney expecting a good night's sleep and instead, I got a loud trashy night club blaring awful music and the bass reverbating through my room. I called reception and asked if they could reduce the volume and bass but they refused. I then went downstairs and spoke to the manager, Emma, who kept repeating 'It's a pub' and that they have live music every Friday. Many guests are international visitors and don't know that. It's also a hotel. People book hotels to sleep. I asked to move rooms but was told they were fully booked, and she claimed even their motel wasn't an option because I'd booked through Expedia. No solution was offered. When I asked to speak to a senior manager or owner, I was told there wasn't one available. When I said I'd have no choice but to leave a review, the response was an unperturbed 'Okay'. Emma insisted the live music was 'plastered' on the website but it wasn't. I later searched for it and found only a tiny panel buried near the bottom of the page. That's hardly adequate warning for guests booking accommodation. Spoke to the senior manager, James, a couple of days later who simply parroted everything Emma had said and also refused to offer any refund or goodwill gesture. Emma and James displayed a complete lack of customer service. Every attempt to find a reasonable solution was met with another excuse. For a hospitality business, they clearly don't care about the guest experience and wellbeing.

The room you see on the hotel’s. Com website is not what you get the photo shows a view of water, but you only get a room overlooking the backyard . Good meals and when the big renovation is finished it should be great.

No towels, but that’s ok because there was no water in the morning anyways.

On a cold evening be nice to watch something on TV on YouTube, but your TV doesn't have a connection. A small table would be nice in the room to drink coffee or tea.

Stayed at this property before and as previous the room (queen with private bathroom) was nice and clean with a comfortable bed, 2 good pillows and super white quality bed-linens. Same for towels. Reasonably quiet but depends off-course on other guests..... Unfortunately this time some loud ignoramuses came back at 02.30 am but that's the luck of the draw. Coffee/tea / kettle in room. Tv a bit oddly placed. Liked having room for toiletries in the bathroom. A nice clean bathroom btw with a shower that has great water pressure. Extra seating area per room outside on shared big terrace. Very close to shops/cafes/beach. The pub underneath the accommodation is looking a bit worse for wear and tear I noticed as does the lobby/entrance but sound wise no problem. Would book again

The room was clean with a freshly renovated bathroom. The bed was comfortable. I was told in arrival there is music and a band playing over the weekend. So fore warned and all, I had no issues. Would stay again

Love the renovation in the rooms and convenience of meals and drinks without having to go anywhere else, especially after travelling all day. No teaspoons for coffee in our room or hairdryer.

It's a pub with rooms upstairs. The rooms are small, but modern and bathroom is very spacious. Staff have no acknowledgment of in house guests. I've been there 20+ times, and still no "hello", "how are you?", nothing! Just weird, really.

Excellent location with water outlook. Pleasant pub below with reasonably priced food and drinks. Our room was spacious with a nice bathroom and very comfortable bed.

It provided a clean room and bathroom in a well positioned pub. No problems at all.

Overpriced for grubby room with hard mattress Shared bathroom toilet door locks broken, clothe hooks missing from back of doors, tiles missing in shower, water temperature fluctuated whilst showering.

Clean Rooms, Great location, Awesome Cleaning staff. AC was a pain and worked periodically and no off street parking were the only drawbacks
