Ideally situated and delightful walking paths close by. 🌼 We didn’t expect such a small room! Very difficult for 2 people. No space to put anything. Shower old and dangerous for seniors. Staff advised us to book directly next time and ask for a “motel room.”

Noise from bottom floor to top floor (poker machines other guests and creaking floorboards etc). Ordinary bed and tv remote held together with sticky tape). Not again for the fare paid!

We went down memory lane

Unfortunately the rooms in the hotel section where we were were very outdated and certainly could do with a refurbishment. I use a 4 wheel walker and could not get it into the bathroom, fortunately I had my walking stick so could enter that way. Rooms were clean but for the price I would not recommend hotel rooms until they are re- done. Staff in the dining room and cafe area were very pleasant, and food was good.

Substandard room

Our purpose floor staying was to sleep but this was make impossible until well after 2am due to high noise levels both in outdoor areas and nearby rooms. Walls need sound insulation and windows double glazing. Door to corridor should not have a gap between it and the door frame. We do a lot of travel and have not had to use a double bed for years - it was not only too small but also had an uncomfortable mattress. We lodged a complaint and were told that the receptionist was unable to help. We asked to be contacted about it but to date we’ve heard from no one.

Very uncomfortable bed - terrible mattress, lumpy pillows

Electric blanket was a real bonus on a cold winter's night.

The stay was great until we went to bed around 11pm and then the music started and didnt stop until 3am. The bed was very soft and not overly comfortable, needs replacing.

The guy in the room next door allowed and used his key and let a guy have access to my room

Staff were friendly, room was large, but bathroom wasn't the cleanest with huge cobwebs on the windows. Blinds weren't all easily accessible for closing. Only cutlery was knives and teaspoons, no forks. Would be helpful to have local eateries, shops in a brochure for options for food.

Didn’t care for the food in the Bistro. Otherwise a nice place to stay.

Could open a window and Tv awkward to view

Liked the serenity and quietness of position if unit. Room nice aircon good. Bzthoom ok,but needs a reallt good scrub. Bit mouldy.
