ノボテルニューカッスルビーチ

ビーチからすぐ近くにホテルが立地していて、のんびりとできるホテル。 泊まった部屋からは海は見えなかったけど、部屋のよってはみえるのかな？ 近くにはランスラン、カフェ、コインランドリー、スーパーがかたまっているので不便さは感じないと思います。

また行きたいです。 次は泳ぎたい。ビーチからそのまま水着で戻れるから便利！ ホテルは綺麗でオーシャンビュー

Well located nice jotel

Nice new carpet on the 5th floor glad to see they are keeping up with the refurbs. The beds are always so comfortable and the pillows too. Very nice staff and excellent location right near the beach and the Newcastle saltwater pool!

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Das Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich.

This was the most expensive hotel stay I’ve ever booked in Australia, at around $400 per night, and unfortunately it was also one of the most disappointing. I’ve stayed in many hotels, including the Mercure in Newcastle city centre at roughly half the price, which was far superior in almost every way — particularly room comfort and breakfast quality. The room itself was extremely hot. Despite raising this with staff, the only intervention was cleaning a dusty air-conditioning filter, after which I was essentially told to accept that the system turns off once the room reaches 20°C. In reality, the room remained baking hot overnight, resulting in heavy sweating and a completely sleepless night. Breakfast, which we paid extra for, was equally disappointing. Staff were noticeably unpleasant and unengaged — their facial expressions and body language made it clear they were not accommodating or attentive. One staff member was openly picking his teeth in front of guests, which was unhygienic and unacceptable. Baby high chairs were dirty and had to be cleaned by us, whereas at other hotels (including Mercure), staff proactively clean these for guests. The breakfast offering itself was very limited and poor in quality. Fruit was clearly out of date — the melon and watermelon had an off taste. Bakery options were minimal, portions were very small, and overall choice was extremely limited. There were no mugs available at the coffee machine until we pointed this out. No one introduce

Bathroom basin was blocked . Buffet breakfast needs more staff to manage shift, only 3 staff were present .

Very close to the beach. Child-friendly with lots of ideas to help kids from feeling bored, like borrowing books, colouring activities and buckets & shovels for the beach. Parking was convenient. Room was quite clean and spacious.

The effort the Novotel went to, to be apart of the festival weekend and include their guests with welcoming packs and complimentary drinks n sunscreen for their music loving festival attending guests for strumming bird festival

Perfect location

Great room though we have a stain in our carpet that was very obvious . Also they hadn’t checked if soap etc had run out and the breakfast was overcooked but property itself is great

I could see the water from the window. It was a nice place to stay
