Staff is really great, they assisted me really well and empathize the request I made. Especially the tall guy at the reception.
However, just want to highlight, it was mentioned in the ad, rooms are soundproofed and sunlight blocked but my room wasn’t.

The carpark in front of out accomodation was the path for indiginous people to get home from town and they were extremely loud and frankly very scary. The Reception did not have anyone in attendance any of the times I attended. I had to phone to get someone to help me. Going to the Bistro for them to call someone to Reception was a waste of time... as after a 20 minute wait no one came to assist. A poorly run establishment that I can not recommend.

This was a very inexpensive (comparatively) hotel/motel, with a caravan park attached, which added features such as a laundry etc. You get what you pay for. This is not a 5 or4 star luxury place, and neither is the cost. I was very happy with everything about this place, but especially the helpfulness of the staff. Their next door bistro was also very moderately priced, with good quality food.

Good value motel in this desert town. Room was practical with all required amenities but a little bland (white painted concrete blocks). Good value food available on site with a discount for residents. I would stay there again if passing through Coober Pedy again. Don’t forget to pick up a fly net head covering in the petrol station next door.

Toilet had been used, nit flushed or cleaned.
Coffee ups had not been washed and left with residue.
Will never stay there again.

The carpet at door was soaked. Two very thin towels. Refrigerator was turned up to high but never got items very cold at all. No one at check out at 10am even though it should have been open.

Had issues with no soap in room, didn’t end getting some as reception closes at 7pm, couldn’t locate staff to get some. Sliding doors in ancient shower broken, couldn’t close to have shower properly so water going outside on floor. Very old and tired room. Had issues getting parking of vehicle, ended up right outside door on walking path, blocking. Was noisy in area during early part of night due to army crews staying in adjacent rooms.
Had a nice meal in dining of hotel resturant, basic bangers and mash, 15% off. Had to ask 3 times to get receipt for meal. Was humbugged by local aborigines as leaving venue.

The one person who could check us in was not available when we arrived. Not her fault, but surely more than one member ( there was another ) should know how? The room was ok, but the curtains did not cover the big front window, letting the street lights light up the room.
