ローズ & クラウン ホテル

For an overnight stay prior to our flight it was very good, large spacious room. The on site restaurant served delicious food and I'd recommend it. We didn't use the airport shuttle as we had to leave at 3am, before they commenced operations.

We where able to check in early which was very helpful.

Nice clean spacious room in a very well maintained property. Noise from aeroplanes taking off nearby is annoying.

Accommodation was comfortable with plenty of space. Dinner at the hotel was excellent, with a great setting.

Staff member was quite short with me on the phone, which was no big deal, but not a great introduction to our stay. We had a lovely dinner, with excellent service from a lady named Pah, at the hotel, for dinner. It was really handy being able to walk 20m to the restaurant and back. The room was clean and neat. We got ready for bed and thats when we started hearing it... the hotel is directly under the flight path for the airport. For the whole night we were constantly woken, or kept awake by the loud roar of planes coming in to land just overhead. It was one of the worst night's sleep I've ever had. I hate leaving a review like this, because the majority of the remaining features such as parking, dining options and the room itself, are all great. It is just not quiet at all.

Its an older style hotel, room decor needs an update, but other than that, very clean, comfortable room, though again matress and pillows could use renewing. Staff were excellent as was parking, exterior, restaurant and pub. Food was suberb, as was service in restaurant. Excellent wine and beer selection and staff were knowledgeable regarding all items on the menu. Will stay again if in the area.

The whole experience was wonderful

This is perfect for a shorter person who loves trains and planes. The door handles are about 650mm from the floor, and anyone interested in trainspotting and with a keen grasp of the Perth airport schedule will love the stay here. Seriously, they are pretty quiet, very comfortable and amazingly clean.

We only found out as we were departing on the morning following our stay that we had been given one of the limited number of units with doors adjoining another unit. There was significant noise transfer via the adjoining unit door. Naturally, had we been aware, we would have chosen one of the units that was not joined to another.

The place was clean and comfortable - very dated and we had a shower that leaked non stop (dripping noise drove me a little batty!) We stayed as was close to a swan valley function we had so location suited us for that reason. Quite overpriced for the dated room we got. Guess it’s the historic charm 😝 service was lovely, pub on premises is quite good and Guildford is a lovely little town! Bed was comfy too.

Convenient location

The perfect stay over for xmas including the most wonderful christmas lunch. All the staff were great from checking in at reception, bar staff, wait staff, cooks, chefs & cleaners. We will definitely be back to this beautiful historic hotel ... a credit to the owners for the beauty it portrays and hiring the right staff 💛

Always so easy, very clean, free onsite parking & we love the pub for a great meal. Thank you.

Convenient location

The room was nice, the location was good for us as it was close to a wedding we were attending. Sorry but although its not the fault of the Rose and Crown I would never stay again the airplane noise was horrendous, woke me at 6:30 and could get back to sleep as they were flying over continuously, got up and left an hour later. As this is limited flights due to covid I dread ti think what it would be like when all the flights resume, I thought they were landing in the carpark!
